Interesting/Cool Modifications

To be honest, an almost stock 135i shouldn't be hitting 184mph in the first place, that seems a bigger bug in this game!

It seems to me that the bug could be the "flat floor", as far as the physics are concerned, is installed by default. Then when you install it, it reverts to "stock" instead. I.e., the logic / data switching is bkcawdras. I've not tested any cars myself, though.

The Mitsubishi Galant GTO '70 keeps its stripe and stripe colour when you repaint it, so you can make some interesting colour combinations. For these pictures I also painted the rims to match the stripe.

DAMN! Oh well, c'est la vie.

I also noticed that you can fit steelies to an MX5 today.

And wire wheels.

Tempted actually

I found something interesting while tuning a car, a KTM X-Bow Street, I can't express this since english is not my primary language so I took some pictures for you guys to see.
PS:Sorry if it was already mentioned.

The x-bow has a body kit, this isn't new. Remember, the game has been out for almost 2 months. All obvious things have likely been found.

Are the Caterham's wheels swappable? Want to give it some retro rims
No open wheel cars have swappable rims.
If you've seen a normal car roll over in GT6 you'll see why. Rims/tires are only modeled on the outside. The inside is just a black slab of rubber while open wheel cars have wheels that are modeled all around.

Just thought I would mention that flat floors seems to be utterly useless in GT6. It adds a ridiculous (and unrealistic) amount of aero drag, so much so, that any benefits gained from the extra grip in corners is completely lost on the straights with the severely reduced acceleration and top speed.

My BMW 135i, completely stock except for sport exhaust, turtles happily along at 184 mph, but add the flat floors and the top speed drops to a measly 159. Not only does it hinder top speed, but the flat floors also kill straight line acceleration, again owing to the artificially inflated drag.

It seems to me this is yet another bug towards which PD and Kaz are completely oblivious as Kaz focuses on TV stardom.
There is an inconsistency with flat floors, I've seen several cars benefit from them. But you bring up and interesting point about drag... I think the leading factor in destabilizing the MR cars is drag... When braking aggressively at speed in an MR car with an ever so slight turn (Daytona T1 and the Bus Stop) its almost like a parachute is being deployed out the back and when you get slightly sideways it's like the parachute is ejected and the car is pushed, accelerating rotation. I'm referring specifically to the R8 Phenix but the odd behavior feels a lot like being pulled to a stop from the rear, than pushing to a stop from the front... Like air brakes on an airplane... And its not consistent as it's a different behavior influenced by the speed of the car more than angle of the turn. But a perfectly straight and level track its easy to slow, but if the track is slightly uneven, like most tracks, it heavily influences the rotation of the car, as if it's completely in the air on a pivot...

What a louy description, but the point is it seems that something is just not there vs. behaving incorrectly... but obviously resulting in incorrect behavior.

I know the Lancia Stratos was already mentioned before, but I thought it could be worth another mention: You can fit extra headlights - and they can be toggled on/off with the high/low beams button!

And they give more light than the standard headlights :D

I wish you could put light pods on more cars. would be cool to set a car up for night rallies.

The OP needs to make a list of these cars.

If she/he wont, then I'll make a list in my own thread.
Not sure if this is the kind of list you are looking for, but @Abraxas has already done an incredible job of compiling customization info here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...QndFN3ZaWmo3Z2FHYThrT1NONlE&usp=sharing#gid=0

I'm in the process of compiling an Excel list that will contain all that plus a combination of these lists:
Kudosprime: http://www.kudosprime.com/gt6/carlist.php
The Complete GT6 Car list: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ear-credits-pp-drive-and-make-columns.295180/

Should be a fairly comprehensive Excel sheet. :)

The Toyota 2000gt semi racing exhaust is possibly the biggest single tip exhaust in gt6. It does look rather odd on the car.

Well, as you can see, in both pictures I have the bodykit in the car, but my point was to show that when you change exhaust the rear panell/diffuser, or whatever we can call that, it changes independently from the bodykit... Just like I said, sorry if it was mentioned before, but looking at your comment I can say that it wasn't.

Yes, someone pointed that out a couple weeks ago and yes, the exhaust mod has been mentioned before.
