Ok, did you read the link?

Well, this is why exactly I need your help in the car: I can't login because I haven't renewed my subscription and at the moment, I can't afford the renewal.

Woohoo!!! Finally did it! A clean incident free race!! First win!! Woohoo!!! I'm stoked!!

Congrats. Which car?

The MX5 cup! I entered the 1:00 AM race, started on pole and everything was looking good till some guy jumped the gun without the lights even showing got into me and moved me so he gained me a black flag before the race even started! So the race started and and I was so pissed that I forgot to answer the stop and go and got dq'd.
So I entered the 2:00am race and was finally able to enjoy a clean incident free race! Won by 10 secs and had 18 secs on 2nd place by lap 13 so I eased back and cuised. Almost got collected by a crazie rejoining the track but was able to avoide him. Finally I am going to bed happy!

RACECAR
Forgot to mention, I'm reffering to this

yes i know, what i'm saying is affecting that competition.

It's impala A that you should skin because they wont get the impala b out in time.

"The new Impala B is yet to be released and the due date for the paint contest is rapidly approaching -- as such we will now be accepting paint contest submissions on the Impala A. You can find the template for this car attached to this forum post.

Sorry for any inconvenience."

Just did a video from a good race yesterday :)

I'm looking for a team mate for the iracing world championship, if you believe youre super fast and capable of doing the world championship (which would be paid for by a sponsor) please PM me right now!

One question, how can i transfer replay data from one PC to another? Like where are the replay files hidden? Cant find them.

Chris

I'm no expert on computers but I think you transfer the data using a USB wire.

Anyways, I would try iRacing, but I don't have a wheel!

Chris

My documents/iracing/replays

just take that file and transfer it if the computers are connected, otherwise memory stick should do the trick.

Chris,

Go to My Documents/iRacing/replays. Copy the appropriate file to an External USB device and transfer like any other file.

Beaten :(

Hey guys, I'll have $100 in my paypal account in the next hour or so and I'm taking the iracing plunge soon after. I have to make time to break in my new RC truck, RedCat Caldera or something like that, today, but other than that, and feeding 2 monsters, I should be playing a lot today (should meaning hope!).

edit- WOOT WOOT! downloading now dudes! I's excited!

edit II- Holy moly is this great!

:ouch:

All that work and suddenly I have to do it over. Oh well, at least I get to do on a car I actually like. Starting on it now.

Edit: Holy crap, that means the old car is still there :dopey:

Well many people were interested in a F1 league yet not many actually signed up.
Therefore i´m a little hesitant to start another topic regarding an MX-5 league.

Let´s do it like this instead. Write down your full name and you username in parentheses

1. Hampus Andersson (Hampus_dh)
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

Copy this list if you want to take part in an official iRacing league with the Mazda MX5 Cup/roadster

I was thinking for now only using one of the cars since one is slightly faster for 99% of the drivers. this way we keep things more equal.
Also thought about fixed setup, no need to think about that aswell.

And in the future we will get heat races and reversable grids etc which could make things even more interesting.

Hey dudes, I got a question that I can't find the answer to. Is my G27's steering lock locked on 200 degrees?

Try adjusting it on your wheels control pannel and the recalibrating it on iRacing.

Should be 900. Just calibrate in game. iRacing will then put the appropriate locks for whatever car you drive. There will be no physical stop though but you shouldn´t even be near the lock while racing anyway :P

I've been trying iracing a bit here too. Man! It's fun and hard. I feel really bad if I hit someone on the track, but lately I've felt I've been hit without my own fault, and that too pisses me off! :D Or, fighting for lead or second place, then wrecking your car on the last lap by doung something stupid, lol. I've been only driving the MX5 so far, I also bought the Corvette, and boy, it is a one mad car! :D

When I calibrate in game it says my wheel is locked to 200 degrees, but I can adjust the lock-to-lock of the car from 200 up past 900. If I give my wheel a 1/4 turn the wheel on the screen does an entire rotataion (or there abouts)! And you are right, there is no physical stop, except my 900 degree wheel only works for 200 degrees. Also, my brake indicator is maxed out when my pedal is only half (about:)) depressed. Both are minor problems, but I want to make sure I can be as precise as possible. Thanks for the responses though! 👍

On a progress note, I've never been so happy about a 4th place!

edit- I figured it out. I had to go under global device settings under a Logitech thing in my computer, then re-calibrate in game. :D
I am so computer-tarded it isn't funny! But it feels drastically better now. Thanks again for the help!

I noticed that the second I started playing it. I also have a g27 however I am not playing full 900 (somebody suggested not to). I am playing 320 degrees which is more than enough on this game as it can be quite hard at times to try and turn sharply at more than that.

I'll try that too, thanks. I read a suggestion on the iracing forums to use 400 degrees., but I saw a lot of contradictory advice on there.:ouch:

I'm going to run 360 degrees for my Fanatec steering wheel. That's how most race cars are set up atleast.

I use 900 on the MX5 in iRacing, 600 for GT5 and 400 for rFactor's Enduracers. Now i've used the 400 in the MX5 by mistake and it's just craazy!! Too fast for that car, it is manegable but I like it better with the 900 feels more natural on that car. For the faster race cars it might feel better.

You would hate my current steering wheel then If you can't manage 400. Mines only 180 at the moment.

I'd love to participate, the MX-5 is great fun and easy to drive fast, which makes for some frustration at times
