Finally cracked the magic 8 limit with a 07.998 :) 07.6 as Opt.

When are you getting your computer Jav? Or was it just the graphics card left to buy?

Edit: Did a new onboard of the new lap, decided to incorporate some more interesting angles together with some nice suspension movements etc.

What card is it? and what motherboard?
Hmm ok, trouble installing that to or have you tried playing it with the other graphics card?

Card is working now, its a Powercolor Radeon HD5770 vortex.
Only thing is the HDMI port isn't working...

The monitor doesn't see the cable, it doesn't register an input...

Like I told you in the PM; most of the time installing correct drivers (like the full Catalyst software suite) will let you make sure everything on the card's up and running.

btw, do you have any regular PC LCD monitors lying around to try it on?

Have you installed the latest drivers?

In rare cases it could be the card that is defect or even the cable, have you tried with other screens, cables etc?

Go to TradingPaints.com when you get the game.

1. Sign up
2. Upload your own skins if you have any (usually $10 will get you a mighty fine skin from a member, i leave that part to the pro´s and the skins i´ve gotten have been top notch)
3. Download TradingPaints desktop downloader
4. Choose what cars you want to download skins for, press download or start. (it takes care of everything for you, placing them in the correct folders etc)
5. Start iRacing and be amazed at a new level of visuals compared to the lame standard skins you will see otherwise.

I did these out i can't access the skins in game? any help?

Drivers are installed now, how do I make sure they are the latest? All I have at the moment is the 32"LCD.

Cable is good, same cable I'm using with the PS3.

I think I found the problem guys... Not the drivers, not the card, but the pc tower itself. Right where the HDMI port is it has a little lip that doesn't let the cable plug in the port, it only goes in half way but I think not enough to make contact...
 
Well i've just done my Okayama race. Finished 5th but shouldve had 3rd. Some guys computer froze in front of me and i drove into the back of him. 7th in points for div 2 though!

wow that sucks man.. sounds really strange to be honest but what are you going to do? Send it back?

I really look forward to you testing the game, i´m sure you will love it :)
there is a swedish saying that goes: The one who waits for something good never waits to long. It sounds abit F but in swedish it sounds good ;)

How does it feel to have driven the real version and then the virtual one?
Almost scary in a sense or is there still some things missing?
(just track wise, car we know misses a few things)

Well the track is pretty close, aside from that fact that you can go a lot quicker in the game because the car is (able to be tuned). I ran a 1:42.0 in real life (not in this video) and a 1:40.9 on iRacing. The car is more of the problem in my opinion. Too much slip angle, with the radial tires that they run in the regional series you can't adjust the car. You can adjust them in the game even though you can't.
 
Regarding slip angle i think it is something that will be solved with the NTM punishing drivers basically drifting around corners.

Sucks a little that you can change the setup even though you can´t in the real series..

Well depending on the series you can or cannot. The tires that are on the game (radial) are part of the regional series which does not allow you to adjust things.

What is the name of your file? It has to be the # for your iRacing account to work.

No biggie! I'll just trim it up a bit if possible, right now I'm just getting familiarized with rfactor, adding mods and all of that.
I'll sign up for iRacing tonight!

Have you uploaded them to trading paints?
And do they have your iRacing ID as their name?

Customer ID can you find in iRacing Press Room/ My Account / first line on the page.
