Jav, (or anyone else who cares to chime in) whats a good time to be hitting on Laguna in a fixed setup C6-R? I did a 1:20.753 in practice, not sure where I stand as far as pace, etc goes.

Damn!! That's a tough one, I always skip Laguna...
What is it with you and Laguna? lol
You just hate it don't you, regardless of the car or sim you're using.
It's one of my favorites.
May the force feedback be with you.
Lol!! I don't know... Guess I just abbused that track on my GT3/GT4 days enough to make me hate it.
But my reason on this particular series is that it will almost always become a wreck fest with all the HPD loonies crashing their way trough the GT traffic. I also skipped Zolder wich also exagerates the problem.

Yeah, I just read that, oh well, what a waste of money then, I just ran another Carb Cup race, they decided on the pace lap who was going to win, thats kind of a waste to me, but oh well, it's only car and track money, maybe if I kiss the right asses and suck up to the right guys I can win one someday too
Actually, I dont really care about winning, but if I cant get SR from it, and I cant ever drive well enough to finish in the top 10 or 5 unless the other drivers decide you can, then it's a complete farce.
Can anyone tell me what other series dont have SR so I can avoid them too?
Just look at the series homepage before you race and it will tell you everything about that series, and then you can see if SR and iRating is being used.
Normally any series that has the word "FUN" in it doesn't count for SR or IR, but that's not always the case.
Right now I can think of two series that don't count SR/iR:
Carburetor Cup - A-Class NASCAR
24 Heures Du Fun - McLaren MP4-12C, track changes every 24hrs.
The 24 Heures Du Fun series isn't always there, it's normally used when a new car or track is released mid-season.
Laguna Seca always feels strange to me on various different games. When I went and did the Skip Barber Scholarship Shootout 2 years ago, I was really afraid of driving it. I had never really been great on video games at Laguna, nor had I found it fun to drive. Luckily the track is loads of fun in real life lol.
It's fun trying to make it more that 1 lap without being taken out👍 thanks, I don't think I've ever run a 'fun' race / series. Are they good races or does the lack of SR tracking lead to sketchy driving?

Not sure, but rookie oval series are.... tough to love. I found that Charlotte is the better track for getting out of rookie - more room to dodge the loonies.I'm running some street stock today. Trying to get out of Rookie on the Oval side. Is it just me, or are there more morons on the oval side than the road side?![]()
In the street stock, yes. Ovals in general, no.I'm running some street stock today. Trying to get out of Rookie on the Oval side. Is it just me, or are there more morons on the oval side than the road side?![]()

What D-licence series have good participation?
You need to purchase a few tracks to run the full season..
Exactly. But, for fulfilling your MPR, it's the cheapest option. And, the Jetta's fun.
But the Jetta costs money...
