I have had it with iracing! I QUIT!!! crappy drivers take me out every time! or cause a wreck! what a waste of my money! I can get this kind of racing out of gt5! total BS!!!!🤬🤬

I have been there, we all had it at some point. One advice, hang on! its worht it.

Well, I done messed up; someone spun in front of me coming through Thunder Valley (Mid-Ohio in KIA) and I didn't have enough time to readjust my eyesight and aim for the gap, so I ended up accidentally steering the wrong way. Oops. Yet I still ran a good race, regardless of the free reset.

Ive been in iracing for over a year now and i cant get a break from crazy impatient dumb arse drivers! Especially the brazilians drivers that i've raced with. I'm a clean racer. Im not the fastest. But i can race clean. I guess its bad luck just about every race that i join. :(

You're over-focusing on what you want to avoid. Look away, and stop being a bit (a small bit) racist. Not every Brazilian is going to hit you.

Easy now pumpkin. At least you get to try and race. It's going to be at least a couple of more weeks before I get sorted out. I wish I could share in the aggravation with you too.

Im not being racist! Just saying most of the races i have had a brazilian driver has wrecked me or brake checked me or caused a wreck in front of me!

Im going to take a long break from iracing or just practice. Hope ya get back to racing soon:)

You're not being a racist. Most Brazilian racers with a C license or lower do indeed suck.

I can't help but think that nationality has nothing to do with driver's talent. Ayrton Senna was Brazilian. That didn't make him faster or slower, at all.

I agree with them. The Brazilian drivers are usually the worst to race against if you want to finish the race. The problem is that they all think that they are Ayrton Senna and try to drive like him. Let's be honest, Ayrton was something special. There will probably not be a driver as good as him out of Brazil for a long time.

For the people asking what series I was having trouble in, I had it in both Proto & GT and Grand Am.

IQ levels were at an all time low at Interlagos. Probably will be even worse at Brands Hatch this week.

This is my luck. Indy @ las vegas, i started 17th worked my way up to 7th trying to get 6th. This guy in front of me blocking like crazy! i was a little faster than him. Two laps to go and i had a run on him coming out of turn 4, about to make my move then bam he put the brakes on and off the track i go. I finished 11th:( this guy is from brazil! Wtf! Thats what i get for racing him clean! I should have taken him out! That is why i dont like racing with brazilians! All the ones i've raced with are dirty. Im sure some of them are clean. But i haven't raced with them yet! Peace

I have had problems with many nationalities including my own. Time zone will be a part of it.

The only nationality I've openly complained about was certain Americans I had come up against on the ovals. I used to run with the uk club logo on my car and that seemed to mean target practice for some Americans because the British apparently shouldn't like NASCAR or be good at oval racing.

So I'm at 3.6 SR and need one more race to fullfill my MPR to advance to oval B

Get on this morning....Hmm trucks at Talladega. That should be a piece of cake , I mean 25 laps around there in a truck , can't get much easier than that. What could possibly go wrong.....

So 5 cautions and about 50 minutes later we finish under yellow. The first big one happened just ahead of me , I had nowhere to go and got hammered , spent the next 8 minutes on towing / repairs ....
Honestly , how hard is it to hold your line around a superspeedway ???!!!! Seems to be a surplus of idiots on the service lately.

Isnt it getting close to time for the free caddy deals to start expiring? Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Might be people who are about to be done and wanna ruin someone elses day.

That's actually a good point. So what tracks followed the Caddy deal.. I just remember Mosport. Or Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. But wasn't it two more?

If you're correct I guess those tracks together with the standard tracks are the once to avoid or to be very careful on. :indiff:

Canadian Tire Motorsport, Mid-Ohio and Sonoma Raceway.

I joined iRacing with that deal :dopey:

I'm having trouble with the Brazilians and the French at the moment... Not all are bad but there seems to be some really impatient ones around. I know there are some from every club but they seem to be the most noticeable at the moment.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Also I got absolutely thrashed in the Top Split Grand Am race yesterday against some of those Polar GT guys. I spent all race at the back of the McLaren field. But the driving was the best I have ever seen on iRacing so far and the racing was nice and fair and close and clean. The Riley's were also very fair and I only had an issue with 1 of the lapping Riley's dive bombing me on the final lap so much so that he actually went off himself. This let Jasper Groeneweg get up side by side of me. I have to give him praise for not doing anything stupid which would have ruined both of our races.

SOF was 3236 and I could not believe the pole lap time for the McLarens.

Results: http://members.iracing.com/membersite/member/EventResult.do?&subsessionid=8247830&custid=105862

I was quite happy with the results considering it was high SOF race and that I haven't run a Grand Am race since early Season 1. Also thanks to Erik for fixing me up with a nice setup earlier this season as I only had about 1 hour 30 minutes of practice (including qualifying) before the race.

Same here, only that I had trouble in almost any and every series when there's no split and SOF isn't that great...

Honestly it goes back to folks who are following/pushing not really understanding how it works or getting little impatient and washing up in the turns. It happens almost every race.

True , it only takes one guy weaving around to start a big wreck. I'm getting better at anticipating problems ahead and finding the right line around the carnage but this time I was on the outside coming out of 4. Not a good place to be !

I feel no love for brazilians in this thread. :(

It's Senna's fault though, he said second place is the first to lose...

But I agree with you guys to some extent, I usually have much cleaner races in official sessions where most drivers aren't brazilian than in the league races I do where they all are. That's partly because hosted sessions don't affect your SR or iRating so people tend to risk more but some of them simply don't think things through. It's a fourty minutes race and they want to overtake everyone in the first lap...

Ugh bloody trucks at talladega done 5races last night went from 1675 ir down to 1470 and sr to 3.20

think I was talking to you last night. Did 3 races last night, IndyCar Fixed, IndyCar Open and trucks and lost .24 SR over 3 races :grumpy:

Down o 2.5 now...
