I went to the podiatrist today and got a proper evaluation. As long as I keep weight off that part of the foot I'm fine. He also gave me a compression wrap which is surprisingly helpful. In more ways than one. The added layer of padding from the wrap makes pressing the gas pedal that much easier. I'm 90% ready to race this weekend so expect to see me on the grid. I'm still having some technical glitches with my gas pedal since I haven't had a chance to clean it out yet (I know...) and with my foot the way it is I don't expect to have great pace, even for an Am driver. Nonetheless, I'll be there racing. I might put a handicap sticker decal on the back of my car so everyone steers clear If it proves to be too much and I feel I'm a liability on track then I'll safely pull over and let you guys have at it.

You'd have been fine, because once the lobby opens we have practice which gives you an extra 30 minutes to get ready before qualifying.

I'm not sure if the lower attendance is due to Saturday or this not being more of the Blancpain series. Hmm.....
