I really don't care if people use these aids or not. And I think people should be able to use any options the game provides to suit them without being looked down for it.
Driving line has never been used by me....I used it in Need for Speed shift when I'd never been on the Nurburgring before (didn't know the track, first time.) By the time GT5 rolled around I knew that track & so no line for me. The lines are rubbish anyway. Its not the quickest way around compared to the extreme stuff the top TT'ers are doing & what i've found over time.I never use the Driving-Line, cause it was hindering me during GT5: Prologue too.
Plus I know the most Tracks from past GT´s.
SRF is an other thing. I personally don´t like it, but if it´s on I just say it´s too ridiculouse.
Hihihi Berty<3
I use it during the FGTC Series run by him. But in Season 1 I ran without it. Indy Road curse I did a 1:09.3xx => was faster than the Track-Record Set by Barrichello during practice
=> FGT without SRF is fast enough but allot trickier
I´m with some others that say everybody should play the game the way he likes.
=> SRF isn´t God-mode you still have to use it properly (but it provides Grip where no Grip should be)
Pagey279You have no idea how well i can race without SRF, so dont pretend that you do.
I race in an online championship with no aids apart from ABS and active steering, and i am winning.
I will take the FGT round there without SRF and i will post my times.
In the meantime you can take the FGT with SRF on around Nurburgring 24hr and beat that time, if you beat it then you can look down on me all you want.
I play the game how i want to, simple as that. Your elitist views do nothing other than make you look a fool.

You use active steering as well, that just says it all haha, I only use abs set at 1, and do very well online thankyou very much. If you are as quick as you think are then you would not use driving aids at all, everyone can be quick using them.

As i have said i find the game more enjoyable with SRF on, and before you say i cant drive try and beat my lap record around Nurburgring 24hr in an FGT, i set a 6.07.9. You will soon find that i can indeed drive.

will-i-am
Is this time online, arcade or practice with SRF, active steer? Track grip set to real, tires? Alot of variables, Im not questioning your ability just how it was done.
Spurgy 777I bet Pagey could beat you in any car with or without driving aids, especially the FGT, you probably couldnt get round a lap without spinning if you tried keeping up with him in and FGT even with driving aids lol. But by all means feel free to come along and prove us wrongWould be good entertainment.
. . . a steering wheel without active steering is a lot harder to handle than driving in real life.

?????
I get it, whats your question?
CC570
How do they figure its harder? Active steering is the first thing I disabled.
