It's not a bug. Mostly it's a handling error by the user or a HDD failure (check the link!). PS2 = no HDD, PS3 = HDD.
Errors could be minimized if Sony would use a built in (& removeable) flash memory for the gamesaves, like a USB stick. But they don't. Maybe with the PS4?
Next time read the manuals of your PS3 & use your brain. You can sue no one for loosing data on your devices.![]()
The point is that it's Sony's or the development teams fault, not the gamers, as I've said before 99% of the gamers that this has happened to, won't care what you call it, it certainly isn't a ''handling error'' of theirs. Console gaming should take the worrying out of where your data goes and how it's managed, if it was a pc I might even begin to understand, but no one that owns a console should have to worry about nursing their fking hard drive constantly. Fk it give an xbox and forza.
