Is your REAL car in Gran Turismo 5?

The have close versions of the cars I've owned, but only one exact:

(This is a 3.0 Turbo. The Supra 2.5 Twin Turbo R and 3.0 Turbo A are somewhat close.)

(Not a true JDM Type-R, but close)

(Pretty much exactly what's in the game. Too bad they got the stock exhaust sound wrong. Big surprise)

Kinda is, not exactly my car but close enough!! 2005 Subaru STI.

I also have a 2005 Subaru Impreza. It looks similar in GT5 but closer in Forza 3. Actually mine looks exactly like the 2004 Subaru in Forza 3.
Same with my 69 Camaro. Much closer in Forza 3 since they have the RS/SS version of my car. GT5 does not. GT2 had my 69 Camaro.

doing an engine rebuild atm, adding water injection and a few others small bits. planning on getting the car a full respray and a few other bits over time too. will be mint when done.

Not exactly the car(s), the closest car would be the '97 LT1 Camaro. These are both 1995's. Pontiac Formula (Trans Am without all the flares and spoiler) and a Chevy Camaro Z28 Convertible. The Formula is mildly modded; Hooker cat-back exhaust, ECU tune, cold air kit, upgraded brakes and suspension pieces, sport seats and a Firehawk Ram Air fibreglass hood. It is an A4 tranny. The Z28 is a six speed with a K&N air filter and moddified housing. It has a Flowmaster exhaust which I intend to replace this Spring along with suspension goodies and an ECU tune They are a blast to drive.

They don't have either of my cars but they do have my nicest cars direct cousin.

IRL i have a 1997 Saturn SC2 and a 2000 SLP Firehawk

In the game they have a 2000 Camaro SS. The SS Package was designed and built onto the 4th gen Camaros by SLP. In fact the game acknowledges this fact in the cars description.

I found it used and on my first time driving it I immediately ran an 8:02 on the nurb using a dual shock.

Beautiful Firehawk, I want to lay my hands on one some day if I can find a good deal. I currently own a 95' Z-28 and '95 Formula, would love to have an LS-1 powered f-body. Too bad Firebirds/Trans Ams aren't in the game...maybe one day.
