I'd like to apologize, it seems a statement I made struck a political nerve with some and that was not my intention. I was simply pointing out that no matter which party is in office, Americans are not satisfied. With Clinton it was sex and drugs, with Bush it's war, money, and dishonesty. It will be the same with our next president, that's just the way it is.
I forget the name, but someone's sig states that their straight six will own your v8. My brother in law just bought a 1975 Datsun(Nissan) 280ZX. It has a straight six and from what I've heard my entire life is that those are good engines. Guess we'll find out. All it needs right now is a fuel pump and he'll be driving it home. My first priority will be figuring out how to mount the video cam in it. Then I'll have some video to upload and can actually show you people how much the roads around here will remind you of GT.
Feb.22, 15 days and counting. That's the first time I figured up how many days are left. We don't have anything special planned, me and my brother in law will just put it in and go. There's a couple of friends that will probably race some as they drop by. That's the way we do things here. We watch movies and play games. We don't even have tv, no cable on this mountain and satellite, well, my sister wants it and she may get it again, but mostly it's just not worth it. So, when a new game comes out that we want, it usually gets played almost constantly for a few days, GT4 will be no different. My sister does like to drive (she's fond of '70 Chevelle's, I'm sure she'll be interested in the one in the game) so she'll be getting in her turns. To the Euro's out there: I, for one, will continue coming to this site and will be glad to answer any questions I can until your wait is over as well. I'm sure there will be plenty of others doing the same.
I don't have a sig, but if I did it would say "Life is short, so enjoy your stay." Thanks to the person who complimented me on saying that earlier. I say that because I've been face to face with death and I realize just how quickly your life can end. Or slowly. I have no desire to have my name remembered 100 years from now. What fun would that be? When it's my time to go, I only hope that they say that I enjoyed my life and that I stood for the things I believed in and was always true to my heart. Give the best you can in all of your passions. Until you've lost, you can't appreciate winning.
