Feburary of 2005 was a totally unrealistic date for Enthusia and Forza. It was just to put people off from buying GT4 so soon, thinking theyd rent the game and buy the better one. Sadly that wouldnt have worked either :-D

Actually, most games get shipped on friday or saturday. I preorder Madden EVERY year (for the past 5 years) and I get to pick it up tuesday or sometimes monday night after store hours. Some stores will have someone drive to the airport to pick up the games, and then sell them after store hours that way they will go on the next days sales report (just to make it look legit).

And best buy may say it is comming out on the 23rd just to make sure they have it by that day, but more than likely they will sell it on the 22nd

well I just went to the Best Buy Website and they are going to sell the game on the 23rd. I wonder y on the 23rd and not on the 22nd. BASTARDS!! I wonder if thats going to be the day all the stores are going 2 sell it instead of the 22nd?

$5.00 -- but its not the money I'm worried about losing. I want to know whether or not I will still get the game. Their website says they have two locations in NY, but the one I went to was closed and I have no idea where their other location is. So hopefully, I'll be getting an e-mail from them soon (during the week).

just be thankful it's not as bad as this... (off topic here, but similar case) my sister's friend is supposed to get married pretty soon. the place they ordered all their dresses from (a reputable place around for 30 years), was just closed by the government for not paying taxes! now only four of the bride's mades had already picked up their dresses, but who knows what's gonna happen to the rest of them! they have her veil too. the place is totally shut down, no phone's or anything. i'd be ****ing a brick! (as she prolly already is lol). they already had a big down payment down too is what i'm getting at.

So, How many of you out there have some sort of GT4 opening party planned. My self, I will probably want to spend a few hours by myself to truly take it all in. Then try and gather a few family members together etc. for some sort of GT4 release celebration. Working lots of O.T. so might even get crazy and get the GT Pro wheel. Lots of killer rides, killer tracks. Probably will use GT3 save and use credits off it if I can. If I have a get together with a few other family members, will most likely sort of try and get as many cars as possbile of the first day of play so that can use them in Arcade mode.

It could be worse...take my case for example.

I broke my left hand on thursday during Martial Arts class (Kung Fu) - and the doctor said it could take up to 5 weeks to heal .

I've alway drove using manual trans. but now it looks like I'll be stuck using autos 👎

I used to work for GameStop, and we very rarely got free games ourselves. I don't want to sound like a prick, but he could be stealing them to give to you.....

No it's not like that, I should have said it differently. They're not stolen. He literally had hundreds of old games from other systems that he traded in for credits. Enough credits that the kid will prolly never have to buy another game in his life, so he gives me any game I ask for. Needless to say I don't abuse it, but whenever there's a game I love and want the day it's out, he's always got a copy for me. Of course GT4 is one I've been waiting forever for!
