read the official press releases - march 9th for EU and feb 22nd for US. That's what it is unless SONY announces different.

yes, I AM! ... especially because we new about the PAL updates a couple days before their release date was announced, if i remember right.

I posted a thread about this, but I don't think they will approve of it. I called FYE, to ask a few questions, and one was confirming the release date. Even though I already had in my mind Feb. 22nd, but something told me to just ask anyway, and the guy said in disappointment, that it had been pushed back AGAIN, to March 6th. If this is true, I'm sorry to be the barrer of bad news.

The only Odd thing is that here in the States there hasnt been alot of advertising, and the lack of Demos also seems increadibly odd. but i'm betting we'll be getting it on February 22nd.

And regardless of what anyone else says, I am also worried about the lack of "updates" we may get, if any.

Well I pre-ordered back in October, thinking it'd be out by Christmas, anyways... I was totally shocked when the guy told me that, I even asked him if he was mistaking that date for the UK's release, I don't know, but it just pisses me off, and PSM can suck my ____ (verb), thank god I quit paying for that waste of paper. I heard they gave the game a bad rating, and probably only because those suckers are rich guys that expect everything to be perfect. "OH! NO ONLINE SUPPORT, OH!" who gives a ____ (exit only). That and they have never helped me out with decision making, they either rate the bad games that turned out being actually fun, and rated some good ones, that I couldn't stand. GT4 is so up there in graphics, it'd probably play laggy online anyway. Sure it'd be nice, but... when it comes to GT4, I'm about going through simulation by myself, and that's it, maybe race split-screen with my older brother, but those alone are more than fine for me. And no offense to anyone who wished for it to be online supportive, or to those who may love PSM, I once did, but the best guys left (Noah Massey, Gary Liew, Eugene Wang, and Stephen Frost).

It all depends on where you order it from. I've got mine pre-ordered as well, through my local GameStop. Problem is, that store has a habit of always getting their games a day late. While there's a small chance I'll have it on the 22nd, I'm not betting on it.. in fact, the countdown clock I have on my desktop is set for the 23rd.

I think the statement was a play off of the simpsons where the comic shop guy says "worst. movie. ever." or worst episode ever or worst whatever ever. I wasn't trying to own anyone, it was just funny, and I think brok46n2 would agree with me. I think the most rediculous thing about this thread is actualy the concept that a video game could destroy your life without you allowing it to.
