That's only if they're included on the North American disc. For all we know, the NA version could just be the Japanese version with translations.

I'm hoping the PAL additions are on the NA version, and judging by the (what, two week gap?), we'll probably be getting them.

Most of the time yes, Halo they planned for but sometimes no. Remember when the PS2 came out. In the States allot of places didn't even have enough to cover pre-orders. Stores here were only getting 100-200 at a time.

An ex-employee sold his on Ebay for $450.00 that first week.

I think now they tell if they don't have enough. Well I dunno if they have to per se, but locally before the XMas rush all the stores wouldn't sell reserves for Nintendo DS because they already met their expected # of systems.

Doesn't matter to me though, I preordered in early august last year 👍

One thing to remember folks...Feb. 22nd is the SHIP DATE!...not every store is going to have the game on that day..some will more then likely get it the 23rd or 24th...Just depends on the store!

I say this just because I called the game store from where I pre-ordered my copy of the game to confirm that my name was on the pre-order list and when I asked them about the release date (Feb. 22nd) they said that was the shipping date and that they'll more then likely have it on the shelves the next day and maybe, based on the number of resevers, they'll get it on 2/22.

So, just don't forget to take this into consideration when you start tyring to figure out what date to NOT go to school or work but instead, stay home & play GT4!

I can't decide if I'm excited or not. I've been frothing at the mouth for this game but now I'm scared we'll be getting the standard version of it instead of the vastly superior PAL version. I'd gladly wait another month or two for that version if the alternative is what Asia got.

My sources are...............me. I've ran a video store for five years now and before that I worked for Ingram (like renttrak). Ingram is a movie distrubutor that organizes the delivery and sale of movies.


Anyone who tells you their store got it before the thursday or friday before release is lying or they got their games illegally and you should ignore them. Trust me, you don't want to be in association with someone like that when Ingram or RentTrak comes afterthem...................

Not sure how your store is run, but many many many times at BB we'd get trucks of new products in (games/DVD's/CD's) way before the release date. Sometimes up to 10 days ahead of time. I know because I would walk into the Media warehouse and curse a lot because all that crap is taking up space. It just sits there for around a week taking up needed shelf space in our media warehouse...

So for your store it might be that way, but for BB its a little differnet.

PD included another Korean car (Spirra) for Korean. And I believe more Korean cars are going to be included, because SCEK said so officially. (They actually said more Korean CARS, not A CAR.)

PD including more Korean cars (At least Hyundai Sonata I predict), and why not more American cars?

More Korean cars means more like more American cars coming. Which version is more important?
(I'm afraid it could be just PAL updated cars, but who knows?)

I always believed that more cars will be added. PD planned everything before and he just pretends that it gets delayed for some reason. I remember there were not much advertising back in 2004, even though games were going to be sold in 2 weeks? Recently, I saw GT4 posters in supermarkets nearby while no release date has been set. And now they say they release 3weeks later? All makes sense.

Now, HOw many of you were feeling suspicious when Sony said GT4 will be released same day as Japanese release ?

How important is it really to preorder? I've never gone looking for a game on it's release date. Is it more of a convenience thing or is it possible that I won't be able to find it SOMEWHERE on it's release date if i don't preorder?

I don't even care if we just get an untranslated Japanese version that will run on a US PS2. I just can't wait any longer to do hot laps of the Nurburgring in my '69 Nissan Bluebird SSS or take a spin on Le Sarthe in an 89C.

Okay, so riddle me this:

If the game ships on the 22nd. How then is it possible for me to walk into my local Best Buy, when the doors open at 10AM on the 22nd.. and see the game on the shelf? Quite simply, you can't.. it's impossible. Ergo, the game must have shipped BEFORE the 22nd, eh?

As I said before, that whole "ship date" thing is just a bull**** smokescreen thrown up by the individual stores that don't get their shipments in on time.

Just a question: The RSX, 911 GT3, Lambo, and Stratos (both versions) were all at least modelled in all versions of GT3, correct? While only the Lambo was available through regular play in the Japanese version (and the RSX in the NA game), were they all available through MK's or a AR-type device? I only know about the NA version, since that's what I have.

The reason I bring it up is that maybe all these cars were already modelled in the Japanese version, just not open for whatever reason. It's a long-shot, but it'd be nice to know that any region can get whatever car. Why leave some regions out in the cold, I'm sure nobody would turn down the addition of any of the cars so far ear-marked for the PAL release.

Yeah, I second that, and I don't really care if I get different cars from diffrerent versions. I just want the fixes PAL will have. 2 or 3 or 10 cars won't make a difference in this game (unless they are the 911 turbo, a 360, an enzo, and a murcielago).
