The Mt. Aso track is random, and different for every person.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Not sure where you came up with that ridiculous idea, but its completely false. Its the same for everyone.

I won the Mt Aso with my 365pp Isuzu Concept and got ~981 000 Cr. Not bad but I think that could win this race with much less PPs but the Isuzu is already fully restricted, 50% engine power and 200kg ballast:nervous:

Got first on 4th lap and won the race with over 5 seconds. Honda Accord Coupe '88 was starting starting on the first position followed by MX-5 Miata (NA) '89 and Spinter Trueno GT-Apex '83

not sure if this is the right place, but where can i find the Motul/Mugen Civic? I would appreciate it!! my psn id is spencer0812.

You win it by winning the Clubman Cup A-Spec race. It is the first race of the second tier of races.

Send me a FR and i will send you one right away.

Isuzu 4200r finally did it for me. I got really lucky and had a field headed up by an '83 Civic 3-door, and NO Miatas in the field. Won it by over 16 seconds, with a best lap of 1:07.223 and a couple 1:08.xxx laps. I *think* this car would be competitive against the Eunos/Miata leader that's been such a bugger for this seasonal, but haven't gone head-to-head against it yet with this setup.

I'll post more tuning info on the car when I get the TV back from my Olympics-loving wife... :)

I finally got my r89c.it took so long to gold this event.
Tsukuba and London was hard but circuit de la Sarthe,mt aso,and deep forest was easy

Can you post the video? I'd like to see it.

Me too. I'd love to see where I'm losing 2 full seconds a lap.

I just did the Tsukuba one with the MUGEN MOTUL CIVIC Si Race Car '87 -- it was really easy. The only thing I did was reduce my top speed to it's minimun which is 112 MPH, I think, and I got first with a breeze. Best lap time was 1.06.965.

Got Tsukuba on the 2nd try. First I didn't get enough speed so I exited and messed with the trans a bit. Honda 3-door was out front.

Car: Mitsubishi HSR-II Concept
142km, mid rpm turbo, sports cat, and like 50.3% power or ballast and power to get to 420pp. Fun car to drive, especially on Mt. Aso, I used the '87 Skyline GS-R (R31) for the other three races

Sorry for the dreadful video quality, this is just a mobile phone job. With the setup I posted, the car will handle very much like a MR or RR such as an Elise, Stratos, YellowBird etc. You have to be very delicate with the steering, but it does allow for higher cornering speeds. For the most part, I was hardly steering on the exit of the turns and short shifting, it's just the set up forcing the rear to turn.

If you don't like the setup I posted, then you'll have to add some positive rear toe, increase the LSD etc. I'm sure you guys know what you're doing when it comes to taming an oversteering or sensitive car. Again, apologies for the awful quality here.

Got first after several tries on Tsukuba with a Toyota MR2 1600 G-limited super charger. Eunos and skyline leading the pack.

Finally... Disregard the top speed saying 190. The gear ratios are correct, the top speed was 118.

There is a error with your pictures

I'm looking into that.

Guess I'll have to do it from my laptop. This mobile stuff is not cooperating.

I will upload the replay in a few. I was a little sloppy in my racing though.

I used a Fairlady 300ZX premium for all gold. let me know if you want the tune.

My Best was in the Izuzu 4200R i was 2.1 seconds behind with some more tweaking i think i can beat it with a near perfect run Biggest thing i've noticed on this race USE THE MANUAL TRANS the auto short shifts and kills your times i was running 1.5 seconds a lap faster with a manual gearbox

I was experimenting with a stock Galant VR-4 at Tsukuba, and the result was a second place and some 20s behind the leading MX-5 (the MX-5 did the race in 5'37" and my time was 5'57")

so I would need to unleash the tuned VR-4 and see whats next

Here it is, Toyota MR2 win.

Bought this car in the new car line up ($300,000) and gave it a go. Easily wins all races. Le Sarthe by between 45 sec and 1 minute, the results didn't wait for the 2nd car to finish.

Raced at 420PP to get them done, tomorrow will lower PP for the fun part.

~~

Won $1,168,225 at le Sarthe..exp 117667 with the Isuzu Concept with the engine at minimum 50% 365PP, 147bhp, max ballast 200kg to 1700kg.
Easy money if you need to build up.

Isuzu Concept car. Possible to win Tsubaka on 1.08xx mins/lap.

Just short the 1-4 gears to the max and join the race where the honda 3 door is no 1 car.

I can't believe you guys can not beat the Miata with the Isuzu concept , I use the Ds3 & drive auto , std supen , std diff , gears set to 112mph & 420pp & it will do high 1.06 laps & will catch the Miata in the back straight on lap 5 my slowest lap was mid 1.07s on lap one & rest mid to high 1.06s . I am sure a good driver & tuner would be able lower the pp on this car , even with the rabbit Miata as the lead car . A very good race , thanks PD .👍

I'm sure there's a ton more time in this car with some fiddling, but this was a quick-n-dirty setup that got me through Tsukuba.

Car will be on shared status later tonight if anyone wants to play around with it.

Worked perfect for me :) Thanks

I managed to win London with the Motul Civic Race Car at 353PP. I started with 410PP than slowly downgraded 10PP every run until it became really close. Started lap 5 as 4th and overtook 1st on final corner @ 353PP. I can post my setup if you like, but aside of my transmission settings, reduced engine power, reduced downforce and a lot of added ballast they are mostly stock.

Edit: Reading through previous posts, I'm wondering if I got lucky with my opponents line-up? People talk about MX-5 which are hard to catch even at 420PP... when I entered the event, a Civic 1500 (basically street version of the Motul Race Car) was starting in 1st and two AE86 were following.

Thanks for that tune, I was finally able to beat the MX 5 Miata with my MR2 1600 @ Tsukuba.
Haven't used Skid recovery for ages and hardly ever use Traction Control these days, but using them certainly helped here.
And only a few minor bumps along the way.
Couldn't copy your tune exactly, used 19kg ballast...to 929kg....189bhp and Sports Exhaust.

Personally, I used the Isuzu 4200R Concept, with upgraded everything at 420PP though I reverted to standard ECU and stuff if at 390PP.

Race order:

Tsukuba at 420PP - Mazda Miata, comfortable 2nd.
Deep Forest at 390PP - Mazda Special, Nissan Skyline & Mazda Miata trio - Comfortable win
London at 420PP - Nissan Skyline - Last corner overtake for the win
Custom track at 390PP - Return of the trio - relatively comfortable win after getting used to the track
Sarthe at 390 PP - Honda City Turbo (get's overtaken) - Comfortable win
Tsukuba at 390 PP - Some other slow car in the lead, which I love for holding everyone up - Last corner overtake for the win

Either way, it takes until the 5th field for it to get remotely reasonable to attack Tsukuba in my car, without heavy tuning and stuff.
