Skeng I know your pretty fast, I wouldn't mind being your team mate. What car were you thinking of driving?
 
We didn't choose if we were going to make it 24hrs or 48hrs, but for sure 48hrs will be the absolute deadline. Right now its Seth so I would figure he has until tonight to make he's selection. Hopefully he is hammering out some laps now with his possible chassis so we can move on to the gent in line.

Yeah lol I floated the 48hr but wasn't sure if everyone had agreed to it.

By the way you had chance to respond to those messages yet? Haha I'm eager to get all the planning done before the season starts

Well being a team we all need the same car right? I would have to choose the least sought after car in order for there to be 2 spots left for you guys.

After not racing for months I've decided to make return to the GT5 universe. Joe add me to the bottom of the list. I don't care which car I get and am open to any teams who need a part time, skilled, clean driver 👍

Sorry if I missed it guys, this is quite an extensive thread. But did we decide to add the 10 extra kg to the rest of the field to bring the awd Subaru in 1st place contention? Or possibly give it an extra 10 hp?

We tested scenario 1 at the weekend and it felt good so I believe we are doing that. The silvia from those who drove it had good balance and wasn't unbelievably slow.

I would have went with the Razo Silvia for Season 2 if had it not been for some driver/friends wanting to put together a Cusco drivers team. My mid corner speed was way faster in the Silvia then the cloggy awd front end that slows me down in the mid corner. I'm not sure if the Razo Silvia will qualify great, but after some testing with some buddies the Razo Silvia showed it could keep a gap if set out far enough from a drafting following car. And I will declare the Silvia as the most stable car on grid that I have driven in all honesty.

I need a list of the stewards for season 2 so Zach and I can complete our spreadsheets.

Recent News: I have taken noticed to the fact that since the last Lexus regulation change the Lexus Is350 have not won a race since then if I'm not mistaken, And I'm a little worried that the Rx-7 might be the out right dominate car in the field. I propose this if the Rx-7's dominate the pre season races that their weight be increased back to their original weight of 1180kg to bring the Lexus, Subaru, Silvia, etc back into the picture. Thoughts?

I think we have to wait and see how the car choices go , since you and I are pretty far down the list there is a good chance we will get to team up .

Yeah send them over, lol I didn't know that you had already made some so that's great.

As an RX7 driver I agree that it will now be the dominant car. But, consider the RX7 never actually won last season. It's only victory was due to a penalty, with the cars fighting with it at nearly.max ballast.

I'd recommend trying the RX7 in preseason with the extra 10kg but be flexible to change it back if the RX7 struggles to keep up.

Remember there is a 48hr limit before you forfeit your choice.

There is only rocksolove and TNT before you're choice.

I personally am happy for you to rank 2 cars in order of preference so we can apply your pick when it comes around.

I'm saying 2 cars as there is the possibility for 1 team to be locked out before it isyour choice
