i can sort of agree and disagree. he doesn't need to be fired. he needs to take in some more idea's from the gt5 community. like chat to drifters, drag racers, circuit racers, etc and expand the game to be a game with something for all kinds of people to enjoy. Me being a drifter I would prefer a better selection of D1GP cars an tracks, being a sponsor of D1 japan you would expect more than 4 D1 cars.

Having read through his first thread... yes, he's a bit of a muppet, I'll give you (and eran) that, but that still isn't a basis for comparison as this thread has not infringed upon the AUP.

No sir I believe he shouldn't. This is by far the best racing sim I've played to date and will be probably be until GT6. We don't need anymore garbage Need for Speed games.

I don't have any insight in how stuff works at PD so I won't say anything about what to do with Kaz. All I can say is that I like that a CEO of such a company tweets stuff. I wouldn't even know the names of the CEO's of EA and the company that created Call of Duty. I like how they constantly update the game and I like the game even though it has some flaws.

Kaz is a genius. With Gran Turismo, there is no bull storylines, no unneccessary cinematics. Just racing. Whoever suggests that he's should be fired is just an idiot.

Nothing has changed much since the past games as there isnt anything that needs changing. The game is perfect. If your unhappy, play NFS. Dont complain about the brains behind GT on a forum about GT. It's just stupidity. We wouldnt be here posting replies if it wasnt for Kaz's inginuity, distancing the joke racing simulators from GT, the true racing sim.

There's nothing, well, there was nothing that would require an official reprimand. The only purpose to this thread is a perfectly acceptable discussion that's quickly gone South because someone dared to say Kazunori should be replaced.

It depends on how you interpret the AUP. To single out one person, saying he should get fired, without giving a reason, could very well be called harrassment.

Edit: Looks like he just gave a reason in his new thread. THAT is definitely against the AUP...

Theres no denying, GT5 could be a hell if a lot better.
All the ingredients are there, the food just taste like 🤬

I agree. There are some things, which are in GT series almost forever and could've been at least improved, but in Kaz's own words, the main focus is still adding new cars (oh i wish it worked that way in LFS ), so perhaps GT6 could be the turning point to bring the changes to the world.

I like the game nonetheless though.

Opening a discussion that someone who is seen by some as failing in their job should be replaced is not an AUP violation (otherwise half of the Formula 1 sub-forum would be in violation of the AUP).

What the staff are more concerned about is that members feel its acceptable to throw out comments such as this....

Seriously OP, get a grip. This will only get you banned from GTplanet.

The first of those is a clear AUP violation and has been dealt with, the second is an example of a member overstepping the mark and attempting to do the staff job for them. If you feel a post/thread breaks the AUP then you use the report button. You don't telling people them will get banned for having a differing opinion.

What has been discussed in other threads is immaterial top that, teh staff will investigate that and deal with it as needed.

This threads getting locked, but not because of the OP, but because of the abusive attitudes of other members, and its those members who will find they are on the wrong side of the AUP should they be under the impression that conduct of this nature is acceptable.
