Koenig in GT4

I recently read that Koenig will probably be in GT4. Just like RUF for Porsche's, Koenig tunes Ferraris and other manufacturer's cars like Lambos, Mercedes and BMWs.
It's just another way of seeing Ferrari in GT4!! :)

This thread is worthless without links.

Edit: What am I saying, it's probably still wild speculation.

psychedelic if you're gonna rock the boat like this and don't want the GTP loyalists to flame you like a charbroiled whopper... then you gotta give some backup to your claims... links, reference, etc.

HMMMM........still looks abit iffy cos the source may not be reliable but it may happen because if PD can get RUF then they should get Koenig.

Lets hope! :D

Speculation is meaningless. Anyone can go on the internet and say whatever they want. I won't believe this until it is backed up by Sony or PD, or some other credible source with the appropriate proof.

Very old article (jan 04)
Seems to be speculating mostly, after having seen the pics taken at the test track, where in one shot was a glimpse of a ferrari parked next to a lotus.
doubt they have any knowledge of the Koenig link to '4' wed definately have heard others talk about by now.

It's a PS2 fan site, not a reliable source.. all the preview is full of mistakes and old info taken from forums rumours.

"Nova Cork"

^ read through it... looked like they used the fake car list as their reference point... they keep citing 700 + cars, when Sony and PD have only ever officially said 500+ cars whenever using an actual #. Also the brands they reference have never been confirmed (nor denied for that matter) Lambo, SEAT, DMC (whoohoo the Delorien sp?), Koenigg, Ferrari, Land Rover... the only ones that we know for sure are in are Mazda and Ruf.

It also states at the bottom the game will be out by the end of June in Europe, so this article was as researched as thoroughly as i checked this post for spelling ;)

Of course it was published in Jan 2004 by Juan, and Juan is the end all be all of GT knowledge, i think his office is next to Kaz's @ PD.

What about koenigsegg vehicles instead of just the koenig tuning branch? No?

What about koenigsegg vehicle

Koenig at least produce a range of tuned vehicles compared to koenigsegg's 1 (& half)

Tuner's work completely independently of Ferrari. They are actually forced to remove all badges referring to Ferrari.

And still you have got to be kidding. There isn't a stock production car outside the Mclaren F1(maybe) that can touch the Enzo beat the Enzo in acceleration. Admittedly the Enzo isn't the only Ferrari, but it is the best car they make in terms of performance.

Please don't mention the Koenigsegg. It is a fast car, but the most recent test that even the Koenigsegg site cites is the top gear one. It does 0-150mph in 16.6 seconds. The Enzo?
13.1 in a test where the other acceleration times weren't as good as other tests.

16.6 seconds to 150 mph is good enough for me. :)

And it can actually get to 150 mph(+).

I'd rather have the Koenigsegg, than most of the Ferraris.

I don't wet myself like some, just because a car is a Ferrari.

Actually Hobo, in the latest issue of Evo (I believe), it compared the Carrera GT to the Mclaren F1, stating that it was the closest car in 10 years to come close, even moreso than the Enzo.

Sorry for the off-topicness, but I figured this thread won't be salvaged anyway.

The Carrera GT is fast, too fast and better looking than an Enzo, just my opinion.

:)

"MOTOREND: 0 - 124 mph in a staggering 9.9 seconds."

We shouldn't mention Koenigsegg just because its slower then an Enzo?

Sorry, I sort of ignored the main topic, but not really. I was simply replying to the post about Ferrari needing to use tuners to compete. The CC8S is the car most often mentioned as the one that destroys everything. The estimates are high, but not the tests.

And yes, in spirit the CGT is the closest thing to the Mclaren F1. However for raw all out performance and speed the Enzo is the only car that can come close. The Enzo is quicker than the CGT in a straightline and there is not one test that indicates otherwise.

Autocar recently did a 0-100-0 test. The CGT did it in an excellent 11.6 seconds. That is only .1 seconds off the Mclaren F1 LMs best time. The Enzo did it in 10.98
seconds and was still .3 seconds slower to 100mph than normally tested.

In every test the Enzo has been put up against the CGT is is hailed as a better performer. Still the CGT has won 2 out 3 verdicts. The other magazines called it too close to call. However, they all agreed in the end the Enzo was still the performer out of the bunch though the CGT wasn't exactly far off.

The Enzo reaches 300kph almost 4 seconds before the CGT. The only car to better it? The F1.

Yes, I admit a Ferrari is not the end all and be all of cars, but at the same time there are people who take every new supercar as the Ferrari beater.

Yes, but the Koni could still end up being, the fastest production car in the world! Hasn't been subjected to a top speed test yet. I wish it would, so then I could say the fastest car in the world uses a MUSTANG COBRA 4.6L engine block! HAHAHA! Yes it also has a larger supercharger than the Stang, and alot of the parts on the engine are different, but still, a Ford engine block, is a Ford engine block! 👍
