Lancer WRC 2004 in GT4?

Anyone know or care to speculate on whether the new Mitsubishi WRC car will make it in GT4?





How about the Peugot 307 WRC?

I can say it's not in GT4P .... but i'd expect GT4 will find a spot for it .

Well I do have to say, the old 206, Xsara, Focus and WRX rally cars do need to be updated to their new predecessors, maybe with the added rally tracks there could be a rally championship where you battle against the clock like a real rally.

I don't see why the lancer looks "awsome" i think it looks the complete oposite my self, would like it in gt4 for variaty but would take older lancer rally cars over it in looks.

The Lancer looks great, but do we really need ANOTHER Japanese car? I like the Peugeot too that looks great.

Still there's not a lot of Rally Car's from Japan in GT3 so another one in GT4 would be alright I guess. Just as long as they don't over do it with the Lancers. *sighs*

I'm not going to hold my breath. Personally I hope the 2003 focus will make an appearance, however in all the screenies, the 2002 is shown. I'm concerned the same could happen to the 2004 WRC field.

The Lancer looks great expect for the spoiler, its ugly but its made that way for a reason, but the Peugeot looks awesome, I know everone has there tastes but you have to be wacked to think the Peugeot is ugly..

New 307 Rally car just looks like Xsara.

I'd prefer other cars to be in GT4 personally

Focus Rally cars are good but bored of one they've had in GT2/GT3/GT

Yeah but I doubt new Lancer is like 50% faster than the old WRC car, besides looks+performance = great car

Most cars look very nice & perform just as well, so why settle for an ugly car? And of course, everyone has there own tastes.

given there is only Subaru and Mitsubishi as the Japanese companies in the WRC AND Subaru and Mitsu are a big part of the Gran Turismo games I would expect to see botht he new Lancer and Imprezza WRC. I agree that we don't really need MORE japanese cars in GT4 but the reality is that it is a Japanese game designed by japanese designers/developers...thus mostly japanese cars.

I'd love to have the 307 in Gt4 along with the new Focus, updated 4wd Citreon and even the Skoda cars. At the same time I'd love to see some of the older Rothmans Porsche Rally raid cars as well.

It's a shame to see that PD don't update the rally car models : they're the same since GT2 !
The Focus is the "public presentation" one (year '99)
same thing for the 206
the Xsara WRC is just like....the Xsara kitcar of 98.
There's no 307wrc, etc....

The older Imprezas and Lancers, like the one's in Mobil1 Rally Championship (1997-1999 or something like that I think...) are nice pieces but this one...uuuuuuuuwwwwwwww, scary

Wrong, that isn't the same car. It has a diferent body and as far as I know was developed for GT4 specifically.
