One thing I just remembered recently from one of books I've read on racing (probably from the "Going Faster" series, which I believe Scaff recommend years ago) was that you should practice smooth braking and acceleration in your daily-driving. Do this by braking into corners until the exact point where you can get back on the gas. Do this until you are so smooth at it that passengers can't tell when you transition from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. You do this so that you will know how, when racing, to be smooth enough not to upset the (weight balance of the) car. And while the Stratos is mostly a "brake in a straight line" car, I think that's a good technique for it also; The weight balance is what it allows it to have such extraordinary performance - if you do it very smoothly. So maybe that will help a few of you who really want to conquer it and drive it well.
