I'm wondering the same. Maybe for them cockpit view it's too....difficult?

The view from inside the cockpit of the 908 is so restrictive and offers a very, very limited field of view as the A pillars are massive and windscreen is narrow (at least in GTR2 anyway).

In forza 3 I can barely use cockpit view in the 908 it is very restrictive you can barely see around a corner as you are turning and often I have to switch to hood view. And I use the cockpit view for basically every other car.

Here Nanaki, live from Le Mans, more precisely in the press room of the Sony booth. A big thank you members who let us do our grub. The real race will begin soon so I'll be brief:

New GT5 demo:

- Le Mans Circuit (with baffles)
- Time Trial modes and races (as 908)
- Damage mode only scratch
- Conduct impossible to pad pro unattended
- AI not bad, although aggressive, it rubs.
- Smoke gravel better made
- Burn of tires is better
- Flying blade of grass when you mow the lawn
- Always the presence sparks controversy.

Photos and videos will come from Sunday evening, and we will not show much (we're under surveillance ... ).

Finally, the team has squatted GT5rs Sony booth almost lonely because access is still closed to the public. Orga to thank you again for VIP access!

Nah Forza will just have ANOTHER car pack each month that you have to PAY for that only bumps it's total car count to maybe 1/4 of GT5's 950+. Forza cost how much when you bought it? Then 10 bucks+ for each new car pack, just to get cars that are included in GT5 more than likely?

That's why GT is the series of choice for over 40million people, you get what you pay for, there's no extra cost for this or that. If there is in GT5 that's fine, it still just bumps it's total of cars and tracks (possible dlc) to even more than that of other games.

If you think your not gonna get juiced hard for the GT5 dlc you are mistaken. A bit of exaggeration but sure Turn 10 is screwing people with the dlc but so will PD. But for the age of the Forza series I would say they are doing quite well, AND you have Forza to thank for making GT5 that much better of a game. Competition is a great thing.

Possible, but I would bet not even close to what other games are doing nowadays. Kaz has shown noticeable aversion to the new DLC doctrine. I hope he keeps thinking that way.

A "demo" that has more cars than many full racing games?

How about Live For Speed, a game that's essentially a work in progress beta, with 20 cars, only two of which are real, and seven tracks. And you can play it for around $47. Or iRacing, which you basically rent, and can easily cost more than $150 a year to play.

But then, maybe that's why it's called GT5 Prologue and not "Gran Turismo 5 Demo."

And yeah, I guess you could say "Forza" is charging us for car packs which include rehashes of what's in the game already, and even leftovers of what's in previous car packs. Frankly, I thiink they should give us rebates because of how frooked up each game has been.

As I said in another thread, if Prologue was priced at the same level of Forza's DLC, it would have cost more than $90.

And by the way, I don't think Forza made any game better. When Kaz introduced damage, it was because the fans and reviewers had a fit for it beforehand.

I just got a message from a online friend who got the privilege of being able to drop in there.

Apparently what they are using is not a demo, it is the full game!

He said he can not 100% confirm it though.
