For those in the UK. Tesco have the Porsche Technics set for £160!

If I wasn’t skint I’d be all over it like a rash.

Best set ever.

Working on a 1990-ish Formula 1 car. Very early alpha, the engine area is only half-finished but its slowly turning into something cool. The suspension arms at the front are too thick but sadly I have found no solution for that, especially since it has functional steering.

Finally.

It's been out of stock for months, and I've been checking every single day. I was able to order it on Monday, with estimated delivery of 9th November, but it arrived yesterday. That's how fast the Saturn V is!

It’s because of this that they haven’t made any more Millenium Falcons for me to get. Lol

Here's some inspiration for you:

Anyone else out there getting into the habit of buying more sets than they have time to build?

I seem to be falling into that trap lately.

Right now my pile consists of:
75912 - Lego Speed Champions Porsche 911 Finish Line
10246 - Creator Detectives Office
76060 - Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum
70916 - Batwing
75102 - Poe's X-Wing

I have a few polybags that I received sitting around too that I haven't touched.

I've also got Megaconstruct's Atheon set in the pile too. Clearanced at $4 it was hard to pass up.

Uhmm, yep! Here's my to do list once I get bored of GTS:

10030 Imperial Star Destroyer (2002)
10143 Death Star II (2005)
10221 Super Star Destroyer (2011)
75192 Millennium Falcon (2017)
10123 Cloud City (2003)
10019 Tantive IV: Rebel Blockade Runner (2001)
75159 Death Star (2016)
75098 Assault on Hoth (2016)
75144 Snowspeeder (2017)
75060 Slave I (2015)
75095 TIE Fighter (2015)

What sucks is I don't have enough room to display them all, so I have to build a few, then break them down if I want to build more. #whitepeopleproblems

How have you managed to secure all them? I can’t even get the latest UCS Falcon

I'm lucky enough to live about 15 miles away from a Lego store here in the Portland area. The Lego UCS sets are the only ones I'm interested anymore (besides awesome car replicas - not a fan of the Porsche). I've been collecting them since the beginning. However, I did sell my original 10179 Falcon to help pay for this new one.

Do you queue up for them then on release day or have you just been able to buy one normally?
I went to my closest store on the day that they went on sale to VIP’s only (14th Sep). Got there on a weekday just 15 mins after the store opened and they were sold out. They had 24 sets in and people had been queuing for two hours before the shop opened. Been waiting ever since, with little to no information. Even the Lego store staff don’t seem to have been told what the plan is.

My family and I went to the Lumiere festival in Durham two years ago and whilst at Durham Cathedral we paid £1 each to fit a block to a Lego model of the Cathedral in a bid to raise money for some restoration work the Cathedral needed. We were back at this years festival over the weekend and the Cathedral was displaying the finished model. Over 300,000 bricks in total.

I'm in the same boat. I ran out of room where I currently display my sets, so I'm building a second shelving unit for them.
Once I get that finished I'll actually have enough room to display what is currently built along with the stack of un-built sets.

Or at least I hope so.
