Change your desktop color. Display properties > Desktop and you have a color option in the lower right hand corner.

It is a very good computer. It seems like it runs just as fast as this computer (1.2ghz AMD). BUt I'm pretty sure that's because I have installed maybe 3 megabytes of things (besides the OS) whereas on this machine (1.2ghz), I have about 17 gigs being used
