Heh, I was lucky to be raised by a father who's a graphics artist, so the Macs have first priority...
Anyway, you can read up the specs on Apple's
iBook page... I will forwarn you though that the iBook is aging (it's the only Mac that still uses a G3 chip), but aging in the sense that it'll last you maybe 3 or 4 years, and then you'd probably want a new machine, especially now that the lucious
PowerMac G5s have come out.

It works absolutely fine though with the software that's out right now... if you do video editing, it's not really up to the job, and it's slow if you work on high-resolution images in Photoshop/Fireworks (but if you work on normal 72dpi images, it's absolutely fine). And don't expect it to be the best video game player either.

For what I use it for though, it's more than enough. (And hell, if anybody's that concerned about playing games on a Macintosh laptop, they might as well pull out the big guns with the
17" PowerBook)
