Random aside, but why does the Supra GT4 have a road-going interior? :odd::odd::odd::odd:
They launched it as a reward for doing a community survey in GT Sport and it was just a limited time offer that you couldn't sell or rebuy from the dealership. It was basically just the road Supra they added in Sport but with the GT4-spec bodykit and livery from the N24 that year.

They then ported it to 7 completely unchanged instead of updating the car's interior with the real GT4 car, or just adding a roll cage to the already existing interior like you can do for the Supra in GT Auto lol.

They also could have replaced the interior with the GR Supra Racing Concept like they did with several other Gr.4 cars with the Gr.3 interior, but the car has a weird status as a "real life car" and not a Gr.4 original, so they won't do that for it either.

Also fun fact, in the survey itself for the car they stated it would just be a livery and the interior would be shared with the road car.

Another theory is that there were multiple interiors before it was ready for customer purchase.
Going back to GT Sport, the Gr.4 look easiest to perform. The cut-away shows exactly how they’re made.

Some road cars in GT sport, already have rollcages: Mini ‘65, Porsche GT3s, Fugu Z, Renault Gordini, Carrera ‘56. Now, those cars have full interiors. It’s probably possible to add roll cages and PD still keep the stock interior to save remodelling every car.

I posted in the Gr.4 Supra survey about that cars’ interior. The real GT4 Concept had a simplified interior: roll cage, stripped interior, but the dash was stock save for a racing steering wheel. That’s also another option PD could do.

I think GT8 will include a Gr.SUV class which has modern suv 's transformed like GT3, GT4 spec type machines

Regarding that last one, I wonder how PD would add it to the game. In real life it's replacing the Lexus RC F but in-game it would probably be a Toyota to replace the Supra Concept. Maybe they add GR as a separate manufacturer to boost the GTWS lineup.

Been watching GT World races and the GT3 Revival Series reminds so much Gran Turismo - it really needs to seperate those old cars into their own category like Vintage GT3 or something - cars from 2006 to 2013 only , a bit ironic is the GT7 almost have them all :P

I think the Evora GTE and some sort of Evora Gr.4 would be excellent picks, though if Lotus gets added at this point, I could see some sort of Gr.3 and Gr.4 version of the Emira being added instead. That said, I think the Evora GTE could still be added, even if it'd be sometime after a hypothetical return of Lotus, much like how Aston Martin had their GT1 racer from the late 00s added.

I know it really doesn’t matter in games but the Evora GTE is such a terrible car it took an entire other company like a decade later to re-engineer the entire car… and to run it in an Open class for it to begin to be somewhat competitive.

I guess if it got added to the game as the Gr.3 it would be fine. But the car is such a massive pile of doodoo in real life I’d actually prefer just an original Gr.3 Evora instead. Or since it’s the year of our lord 2026, an Emira.

In Forza Horizon 6, the GR GT is simply GR GT Prototype, with GR as its own standalone brand, so that might probably be the case if the road car or the GR GT3 were to be added to GT7.

Only problem is, this would create the necessity of a fictional Gr. 4 version.

Not sure if PD will add own GR brand if they havent already with any modern GR car like GR Corolla etc

it wouldnt make sense now , also when you look almost everybody writes it as Toyota GR GT but Toyota themselfs call it just GR GT
