Anybody agree? Anyhow I think Sony/PD should everything possible to pre-emptively lock up MotoGP if they intend on making future TT game.

Sony can't pre-emptively get the MotoGP license as Capcom have it until at least the end of 2010.

This might give it away slightly...

But on further digging, it seems like they've got it until 2012

it is a shame, but who knows what the future holds after 2012. I wonder if WSBK is in a similar situation?

while its true that capcom does the have rights to MotoGP, given PD's reputation I don't think it would be hard for them to convince Dorna.

I'd love for PD to be able to include Motogp or WSBK in a bike game but I would hope they don't get exclusive rights. I'd hate to wait 5 years for each new release.
If Milestone are able to secure a license for Motogp that would be fine. Or, more accurately, if the rights holder to Motogp is able to choose multiple developers that would be fine.

I agree, it would be hard to imagine Dorna not give serious consideration to the potential of KY working on the next generation of the digital motogp experience. Maybe there's the possibility of Dorna changing the contract to a more flexible one which may not contain exclusive rights as such? I can see Dorna still wanting to achieve a global platform release (ps3, x-box , DS, PSP) for the Motogp brand though...

Capcom has the MotoGP license like some of you said.
And Black Bean Games has the WSBK, Supersport and Superstock licenses.

I would rather se the latest litrebikes in TT2. Would love to take the S1000RR and rev the **** out of it all the way up to it´s 14.500rpm limit with it´s quickshifter.
Todays litrebikes i just in another dimension compared to bikes 3-4 years back.

Would love to ride the Desmo RR and maybe the more hardcore version called the NCR Millona 16. over 200rwhp and only 145kg means it will move like a got damn jetfighter :D
