Because the IOC is French, they created the Olympics as an organised event.
 
Now I know why the NHS gets criticized for not doing it's job.

For anyone who grew up with these books and movies it is quite spine-tingling. My son, born and bred in Canada keeps throwing hundreds of questions at me, some of them quite funny, though serious; as in: "Didn't London bridge already fall down?"

As for the music - I have both Tubular Bells and Chariots of Fire. I'll have to get those albums out again. And now they will ignite memories of this event.

TG, Mr. Bean is here to save the day. (Keeps my son laughing and not questioning.)
