A big well done for his first F1 win, it would seem that being told why he wasn't winning last week on TopGear solved the problem .
Yeah! I was thinking the exact same thing!

Congratulations, Jenson!

Hope that Ferrari/Bridgestone have a full inquest on the performance of those wets. Seemed like the window for decent performance on those was far too narrow - they only worked on a vaguely damp track and they were supposed to be full wets.

M Schumacher was on inters the whole race despite what Davidson said. He never had full wets on.

You often get lucky winners in weird races like that, but Jenson was right in there from the beginning - very well deserved 👍

Odd how what is generaly thought of as one of the most boring races of the year has turned out to be, BY FAR, the best race in grand prix history.

(or at least the year for those of you that dont worship Honda)

Considering his slowing down at the end, it's his and the teams fault that he didn't change to dries sooner, maybe then he could've done something. That said, I'm glad to have seen them gone out, it means we got something different and refreshing.

Erm...overstatement of the century perhaps? Today's race was full of action, but "by far the best race in grand prix history" is just a little inaccurate.

Maybe the best race for those who don't enjoy regular F1 racing.

For me: Interesting? Yes... Good race overall? No.

Congratulations, Jenson. I was almost sure his engine would go right before the finish line (again), but today, it was meant to be.

Yeah, he could've got a podium if they'd changed to dries when he was 18 seconds ahead of Heidfeld. Stupid decision.

Didn't realise he was on inters throughout - explains their performance a bit more, but Massa could barely keep it on track at the beginning on the same tyres then.

Yeah I was watching it thinking "that engines gonna break or his tyre's are going to blow in some freakish, it never happens way", I'm really glad for him.

Congratulation to BMW fans all over the world first Podium in its first season , what a race .... Kubica was pretty impressive finishing on inters

at last the signature I got from him at Bahrain this year well be of some value lol..... well done

Good race very spectacular. Every f1 race should be as good as this! Poor for Schumi and Alonso but still great racing!! I realy enjoyed this.👍

A very good race and a very good win for Button. Didn't make any mistakes as far as I could see and drove solidly throughout.
The rain really levelled the field and forced some good tactics to be played and good driving. Jenson certainly drove very well. Faultless.
Anyway I hope it's the first of, well, a few more to come at least (though maybe not this year).

Right so aslong as it rains in Hungary, we should be in for an interesting race. :) Put it at the beginning of the calendar!

Button becomes the driver who has won the GP from the lowest grid position of 14th, who said you couldn't overtake on that track? :p Kimi's crash was strange, it appeared as though he had just drove right up the backside of Liuzzi, no-one appears to be blaming anyone though so that's good. Happy to see De La Rosa take his first ever podium and BMW taking their first as a team, but it's Button's day today, yes retirements went his way but he stayed on those inters for ages. Great driving and kept out of trouble at the start. Fully deserved, who knows what this will do for his confidence now...

I've merged the "congratulations Jonson" thread with this one. Some people will not want to know the result as they'll be watching it later. the congratualtions thread kinda gives it away.
