* Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
* Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.
some of the longer-term updates :
* Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service.
* Further World Circuit event additions.
* Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races.
* Ranking battles in Online Time Trials will be made more advantageous with rewards. earned based on achieving a time that is within +1%, +2%, +3%, and +5% of top time.
* Make it so cars can be sold.
Ok, it looks like some good stuff is coming. However, I won't hold my breath. I have to see it first happening, won't buy the hype train this time.
*The rewards they mention an increase of in average 100%. That's basically twice the payout, and as it mentions, it's on the later half of the WC. So that means that only the big races like WTC 800/700 Gr.3 races are going to have their prices increased.
It's not bad, any increase is welcome, but 100% increase is still not nearly enough. Yeah, that's the pathetic state the grinding and payouts are at now... But it's going somewhere.
So whoever has already golded all Circuit Experiences will not have those rewards? Or those rewards are cars? If it's credits, yeah, anyone who has gold it, has to s*** it up. However, if it's cars, this means everyone will receive them. And this is a good thing.
This should've been done from the start.
But I fear, they might instead do roulettes...
*Increasing rewards in Online Races by how much? If it's Sport races, where you can't boost people, they have to be increased lik 3 fold to be acceptable.
*Endurance Race event missions? So basically, you can only win them once? That doesn't seem like the right way to do it, endurance races could've been a good grind.
Boy, I hope at least the prize cars are worth it.
*YES!!! Why limit the credits at 20 million when the most expensive car is 20 million? Again, such a thing should've been in the game from launch. 100 million is more than acceptable, actually, even 30 million would be fine, anything above 20 million so that you can buy one of the unicorn cars and still have some left to buy something else and not just go back to grind right after buying a car or have your credit wins nerfed because you were at 19.999.999 credits and win only 1 credit in a race.
*Another thing that should've been here at launch, and again, will be welcome.
So yeah, PD clearly got the message from us in metacritic. Only thing they won't have done is the always online feature which will stay until the end of the game where they release GT8.
The backlash was just unbelievable, youtubers everywhere talking about it, even high-profile game pages.
They had to do something.
Only sad thing about this is that their maintenance screwed my A-Spec Bob friend from grinding credits so that I could buy the F1 today... 2hours of people not being able to win credits. Jesus man.
