Hamels admitted he threw at Harper lol. The article I read about that mentioned he could get fined and/or suspended for doing so. Guess he wanted to bring back the days of old in baseball lol. Harper is doing good. Stole home as someone already mentioned. Heads up play on his part. I find myself watching the Nats whenever I'm on MLBTV. Too bad about Werth breaking his wrist. Looked nasty.

He is definatly getting fined, should get suspended a couple of games. He admitted it was on purpose! Eh Werth is garbage. Harper is going to be able to deflect the fact that werth is stealing a boatload of money from the Nats. One of the worse contracts in the last 10 years

Hes having a pretty solid year. Its hard to say one of the worse when its only in the 2nd year.

Well when you get payed that much, your expected to produce. Quickly really. And now he is out of baseball 12 weeks,so he dug himself quite the hole. Werth and adam dunn 2 of the worst contracts in the last 5 years. Jury is still out on crawford

Outside of last year Adam Dunn is the most consistent player in baseball. And hes killing it this year. I'd rather have Werth over Crawford and I'd have Dunn over both Werth and Crawford.

I'd say that Howards contract is the worse one out of all the major recent ones. I betcha Werth has a solid bunch of years in there. Crawford is a product of the East Coast media. He's a nice lead off hitter but isn't a middle of the order bat that they like to say he is.

Not 100% related to your post but it is related to your team.

Guillermo Mota suspended 100 games for taking PEDs again.

The Tigers go to Seattle starting tonight. I hate the west coast swings because I can never stay up late enough to watch the games lol.

As for the Hamels/Harper thing, Hamels is such an idiot for saying he hit Harper intentionally. If he was asked all he had to say was the ball got away from him. Now he might cost the team a couple of starts and lose money. DOH!!!

Woody Paige on "Around the Horn" mentioned this being more like old school baseball. Come on now, though. Is THIS the way you want to welcome someone to a sport? That would be like a NASCAR driver purposely wanting to ram a newcomer into the outside wall... just to say "welcome." That's foul. Hamels is better than this. I'd say the crime fits the punishment... or is it the punishment fits the crime? Anyhow, stay classy, Hamels.

Leave it to the Phillies. I'm surprised Harper didn't pass out from getting hit in the kidney.

Bet you Hamels felt crunchy after Harper stole home plate on his dumb ass.

Lead off home run and two more runs scored by St Louis in the top of the 1st already. Then we completely waste a lead off triple and leave two men on to completely 🤬 it up. Way to go AZ.

Going to be that kind of 🤬 game. 👎

Quick and painful- like getting hit by semi truck running at full speed. After winning five straight, Astros have now lost two straight. Our ass-handing was a 4-0 loss at home to those Marlin boys. The Cardinals must have sapped us of our offense after we lost 8-1 on Sunday to them. Innings really seemed to fly as the hit counts were low. Six hits for Miami; three hits for the Astros. Marlins even led off with a hit on the very first pitch.

Complete game f:censored:ing shutout for Carlos Zambrano. Flipping unacceptable for an Astros fan.

Jordany Valdespin spins a ball off Papelbon over the right-field fence in the 9th. Mets win 5-2.

Zambrano shuts down the Astros 4-0.

Mets chances of making the playoffs according to ESPN are 26th out of 30th. Well, I see Kansas City somehow more likely to make it at 9-18.

They have 5 runs, and we have 1 hit. Un:censored: believable. I guess it's a good thing I'm not a SD fan, cause I would have thrown the remote through the TV already. :grumpy:

Edit: 6-0 now. Game = OFF. :yuck:

Good thing you turned the game off, because Holliday gunned someone down at the plate in the 5th I think.
And Lynn is one of the best pitchers in the NL right now, don't underestimate him.

EDIT: Disregard the 5th Inning part, it was the 3rd or 4th, but I'm leaning towards the 4th.

That's three wins in a row! We beat the Twin 8-3 tonight and Weaver is now 5-0. :)

How's Pujols doing for you guys? :sly:

7-0 now Birds! :p

Friggin' Braves lost though. :(

Lynn just got lucky, Holliday made a catch near the wall.

I'm not sure what our problem is lately, but for one Chris Young can't get back on the field soon enough. We don't have a problem making contact with the ball, but it always seems to be right at someones glove. It's getting really annoying and frustrating. At this rate I might as well stop watching and come back in October.

Edit: Eh, I knew it was out when it left the bat. Got under it too much.

John, tell Houston not to throw anything over the plate at Stanton. He swings at everything, and if you give him a fat pitch it's going into the seats.

Hey, we didn't get shut out...

Edit: Really!?!

Aww 🤬 Are you kidding me? Cards 7, D-Backs 6!

We really just can't catch a break. 🤬 2 home runs in a row to start the 7th.

Who was that guy? He played for the Cardinals last year? Alberta something? Bahhhh, they don't need him!

Well congrats you've won it. Those HR's crushed any hopes we had. I see a 6 game losing streak headed our way.

At least the Coyotes are winning tonight. :indiff:

Are you sure? I thought it was over at 7-0, next thing I know, the game was nearly tied!

Nah it's over.

🤬🤬

My team's Braves. They lost, too.

Well at least the Jays had a day off from the beatings. Were in oakland, so we might have a shot at winning.

It was 9-1 last night as the L.A. Dodgers creamated the Giants in Los Angeles. Game 2 of that series is tonight. It's Kershaw (LAD) vs. Vogelsong (SF) tonight in that series.

My Astros will send Aneury Rodriguez to the mound (his first start of the season) to go up against Miami's Anibal Sanchez.

Enjoy your baseball!
