Now its 17-7.

Matt Kemp may be headed back to the DL.

Looks like pitchers are having the night off tonight... some seriously high scoring games:
PHI 10-6 NYM
STL 7-10 ATL
SD 6-8 CHC
HOU 7-12 COL (and counting) EDIT: finished 7-13
SEA 21-7 TEX (and counting) EDIT: finished 21-8

on top of that, all 4 Blue Jays runs were solo homers

Go Braves(sorry Birds)!

1-0 in SF right now with the DBacks. Bottom of the 4th.
OK, some of the pitchers. Still lots of runs scored tonight (today for me)

And now more insanity: Tulowitzki out with a strained groin.

This week could go down in history. Halladay, Weaver, Pedroia, Kemp and now Tulowitzki.

Down 5-1 and tied the game up! Trumbo hit a 2 run oppo taco and Trout hit a 2-run double.

Stopped watching and stopped caring after TWICE accidentally cheering to Rockies' home runs (I wasn't paying attention to who was blasting the ball out of the park). We failed again- 13-5. I tuned in when the Rockies were ahead 4-0 after a COL Grand Slam in the first inning. Astros tied it up, but then, the Rockies just piled it on. This is the classic case of taking a step ahead, then going two steps back. S:censored:ty performance by the Astros during this stretch.

Elsewhere... the score was 21-8 with Seattle at the Rangers. And guess what? It was SEATTLE (not Texas) who put on the 21 runs! Normally, it would be Texas jumping on top of and punching down teams. This is a classic role reversal here. Talk about tasting your own medicine!

Story here- Astros failed again. Trying to avoid getting swept Thursday night.

Goldschmidt OWNS Lincecum. 13 career at bats against him and has 4 HR's now. The most in baseball.

While everyone cheers for the heat at the bars, I'm the only guy that jumps out of my seat saying HOME RUN when Stanton whacks a fat pitch into the Clevelander.

Wow... Lincecum winless in May. Congrats to the D-Backs on that 4-1 win in San Francisco.

Yeah he does, but he also hasn't faced Cy Timmy.. Only hanging change-up Timmy.

The Giants can't sweep a series worth there life this year.. This was like our 5th opportunity and we failed.. again. Poor management by Bochy doesn't help.

Speaking of poor management.. How about the Dodgers releasing Kemp way to early. You would think a professional baseball team knows that hamstrings need to be healed 110% before you play again, other wise you risk having that injury for the rest of your career.

Hell hath frozen over - Prince Fielder has just hauled all of his 275lb around the bases for a triple

Hell froze over much longer ago. He's hit two inside the park homeruns.

Ah, didn't realise that. In that case hell must be permafrost by now.

Bud Norris decided that today is an off day and wanted to show up Derek Holland from yesterday. Mission complete. 1.2 innings 9 ER.

Four game sweep of Houston. 👍

Red Sox lost again, but I didn't realize that they were above .500! 👍

Edit: Oh god, they are still at the bottom of AL East.

Damned disappointed in my Astros. We went from a chance to go above .500 on the road trip to the Dodgers and Rockies... to being five or six games below the .500 mark. What was it... a 1-7 road trip? Talk about a step forward and two steps back. I hope this crap ends at home with the Reds in H-Town.

A number of games will be shown on FOX for the Baseball Night in America, which includes games like the Yankees at the Tigers and my Astros against the Reds. The Sunday Night Baseball game shows the Cardinals at the Mets. So the Mets will get some Sunday Night face time.

Enjoy the weekend series, and best of luck to all of your teams.

We're playing San Diego over the weekend, who are 17-35 this season so far, so I'm hoping we can come away with our first sweep since the beginning of the season.

Something I forgot to mention about tonight's game is that we're rocking the Astros' rainbow uniforms of the '70s as part of our Throwback Friday games at home.

Right now, we're stuck in the past with Cincinnati up 2-0 already in the 1st Inning with two outs. If we keep this up, we'll be heading into Cubs territory in terms of bottom-of-the-barrel NL Central teams...

THIS JUST IN- Johan Santana throws the first no-hitter in Mets history with an 8-0 rout of the Cardinals. My congratulations goes out to the Mets on this accomplishment.

The Astros were sporting some lovely '70s throwback uniforms, which was fitting because our offense is stuck in the past. We've now lost seven straight games after taking a 4-1 beating. The closer for Cincinnati put on a world-class performance against my Astros. Right now... we're a car that has only one gear- Reverse. Our offense is stuck in neutral, and we need to drive ourselves out of the dirt. Quickly. Guess we're going to fail on national TV tomorrow night to go to eight straight losses. Good news about this losing streak is that this isn't late in the season. Bad news is... we're losing. And I'll be damned if we end up repeating the poor performances of the 2011 season. My boys have GOT to turn it around. It's too early to think Texans football at this point.

Time for you all to brag or complain now...

Tied 1-1 right now in San Diego. We have 7 hits and have spoiled several opportunities, which seems to be our forte right now.

Miley (our pitcher tonight) has extended his hitting streak to 8 games. He also had a no-hitter going through 4 innings, which hit a wall when Parra mis-judged a fly ball in left field and missed it in a dive. Very rare mistake for him.

The Rockies are thrashing the Dodgers 13-3 in the 9th.

Good.

Because a small confrontation between us and San Diego has them all fired up and showing off. Now we're losing 4-1.

🤬 bull:censored:.

Edit: Now 5-1. :yuck:🤬

I think Cy Timmy is done for...

Then you are going to be in for a rude awakening.

Giants win again, 2 to 1 against the Cubs. Cain faced one batter in the ninth before being pulled, (MadBum faced 2 batters in the 9th before being pulled yesterday). Freaking beasts.

Some good and bad news on the Panda front. The good news is that hes playing tonight with the SJ Giants.

The bad news is that he was questioned by Santa Cruz Police about possible Sexual Assault charges. Honestly its complete ********. The sex was consensual, but she claims that she was to drunk to give consent. So how exactly does that lead to sexual assault? She just wants the money. It makes me sick when women do these things, always playing the freakin' victim.
