Haha, Paul Goldschmidt 2 for 3 this game with a double and yet another home run. HE'S ON FIRE!

6-4 the score. We're getting closer...

We beat the Rockies 7-1. ;)

Yay.

Edit: Well if we hadn't given up a 2-run home run last inning, we'd be tied now. But we're still slowly climbing the hill. Slowly.

Score: 8-6, A's leading.

Edit 2: We lost. At least the LAD were no hit tonight, SF lost to Texas and Colorado was laid out too.

Edit 3: OMG we won!!!!!!!

The Phillies end a 6-game losing streak, 9-6 over the Orioles.

Maybe someday we'll learn what a "shutdown inning" is, and why they can be important.

Hey... shout out to Arizona on a solid win. Three-run walk-off bomb to win 9-8. That was beautiful how the Diamondbacks were able to come back in this manner.

Also, congratulations to the Seattle Mariners on a combined no-hitter to win 1-0 over the Dodgers in Seattle. It took six pitchers to secure the combined no-hitter.

Last night marked two first.. First time the Giants were shutout this year, and first time the Rangers have ever won at AT&T. Though the Giants didn't have Cabrera, Posey or Sandoval in the lineup. No team will do well with there 3 best hitters out.

Today the Giants beat the Ranger 5-2 and Vogie had an awesome game. 7 2/3 innings gave up one earned run. Hey may be looking at another All Star selection, hes been awesome. Really shut up a lot of the haters. :sly:

Sandoval in his return after missing 35 games due to a broken hamate bone. Now, he has no more to break so isn't going to have that problem anymore. But he did get hit in the hand today which ended up being called a foul ball, but then he took the next pitch and drove it up the middle of a rbi single. Don't piss off the Panda.

We beat Colorado 11-5. :D Only 3 games back.

The White Sox must have had nightmares last night of the Astros beating them in a sweep. So what did they do today? Hammer my Astros. Only good news for us is that we didn't get shut out. It was a 10-1 victory for the White Sox. Sale won for CHW while Jordan Lyles (HOU) fell to 1-2 on the season. ANOTHER Rubber Game coming up. Time to see if the Astros' offense from Friday night can hopefully be rediscovered so the Astros can get their 26th win and not be stuck on 25.

Grand Slam. :D

Oh, and 13 of the 14 runs we have scored during this series with the A's have come with 2 outs in the inning.

Getting. It. Done.

Edit: Make that 15 of our last 16 runs have scored with 2 outs.

Also - Paul Goldschmidt 16 game hitting streak....

Final score: 8-3

We're up 9-6 against Colorado and its only the 4th inning.

Rockies were on a good roll until we took 2 of 3 from them, then they've hit a wall.

Our last inning ended with a line drive back to Saunders who then doubled off the guy on first. Freakin' awesome.

Edit: Goldschmidt 17 game hitting streak...

We won our first road series! It was an 11-9 victory as the Astros handled their business. Should have won by more (up 11-4 or something at one point). However, the Astros held serve even as the White Sox kept the pressure going. Our winning effort was the work of 11 hits and one error. The Chicago White Sox managed 8 hits with no errors. So we FINALLY win a Rubber Game for a change.

Up next is a day off before heading out to beautiful San Francisco to play at equally beautiful AT&T Park against the San Francisco Giants. So this will be a JohnBM01 vs. Prosthetic grudge match.

Elsewhere... I heard the Nationals swept the Red Sox at Fenway Park, and the Pirates swept the Kansas City Royals at PNC Park. Congratulations to all other winners from today's action as well as tonight's game.

Starting Friday It's Diamindbacks vs Angels. :sly:

We've won 7 of our 9 games. Bring it. :sly:

Edit: Make that 8 of our last 10, and now back to .500. :)

Good luck keeping Mike Trout off the base pads. :sly:

Good luck keeping Goldschmidt in the park. :)

Good luck keeping Trumbo in the park. :)

What the HECK happened in the 9th inning. Downs didn't catch the ball and everyone from the Rockies decides NOT to run. Wackiest (and most embarrassing based on how the second baseman missed the bag and then turned around and ran back to touch it) double play ever.

And my Dodgers keep on winning...

Freeway series starts tonight! :D

He had obviously caught the ball.

Undercover Agent Ned is at it again... Signs Eithier to a 5 year $85 million deal. Plus a club option for 2018 for $17.5 Million.

Lol.

Lol.

Wow. Just imagine what us peasants could do with money like that.

Playing the Rangers tonight. Kennedy on the mound who was failing miserably to start the season but has turned it around in his last two starts. Hopefully he can continue his winning ways, as long as we can get some good run support.

Yea, please beat Texas!

It's good to have a target on your back. Rangers are the best team in the league. Ready for the D-Backs.

The only non-Interleague series on right now is Astros at Giants. I just want the Astros to have a great series in beautiful San Francisco before having to take on those trigger-happy Texas Rangers in Arlington for the weekend.

Best of luck to all of your team(s).

Yeah I 🤬 knew it. Good thing we got back to .500 when we did, because if we didn't, we'd be in last place after this 🤬 road trip.

Movie time...
