So four guys showed up, and one dude was just wondering though?
 
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm okay with the Miami Marlins namesake. I am not okay, however, with the new colors. Even this Texas boy liked the teal and black better for the Marlins. I even prefer the previous logo over the new one.

Everyone's going to be wearing mics in today's Phillies game. Too bad Howard won't be playing; that guy's a regular chatterbox when a runner gets on first.

That's awesome. Thome, Victorino, Rollins, and Utley are all funny. I bet chooch says some crazy things, too. I love it when catchers have big mouths. They might need to bring the 🤬 bleep with them for Utley. :lol:

The Angels crushed the Indians today 17-2. Trumbo hit two bombs and Kendrys Morales might starting playing next week. Can't wait to see how he does.

Anyone else get MLB 12? I'll be home again in the summer time to play. Started a pitcher over spring break and I'm stuck on the New Orleans Zephyrs because the Fish have a beastly starting rotation in the game. :lol:

Also, since I don't have TV up here I was thinking about getting that MLB.tv package. Anyone else have any experience with that? Was it worth it?
 
We have the mlb.tv package, and I think it's a bit pricey, but pretty decent. You can basically watch any game you want, any time you want, subject to local blackout while the game is actually in progress sometimes.

I got 12 the Show and I think Villain did too.
 
I got MLB 12 The Show. Game seems largely the same but I already have some gripes as to issues.

I'd love to see what trades go down via a transaction log even in RttS because I would love to see where players are going.

I'd also like to know why the advancement goals for my pitcher are to hit a HR and draw two walks when my team manages to play 0 games in that time period where the pitcher bats, effectively making me fail the requirement before even starting.

I have two RttS files as it is. One as a 1B (Baltimore system) the other as a SP (San Diego system).
 
ESPN is showing the Marlins vs. the Red Sox. Ozzie Guillen, of course, is miked up and chatting with the ESPN crew. It's currently the end of the third with the score 1-1. Boston just scored. Again- Spring Training. So these games don't matter anything towards the regular season.

Must have had an early tee time or something. Seriously.

He's trying to catch Bobby Cox and apparently the record in spring training is more than one. Guillen is just... odd.

Got through my first RttS season.

AA 25-0 (including playoffs) 0.43 ERA and 214 Ks. My manager yelled at me twice though. Once for failing to meet two of my goals (it is apparently unacceptable to fail to get a HR and 2 walks over a goal period in which you never see an at bat), and the other time for accidentally getting caught stealing (yeah I wasn't paying attention).

Not the Halos in my league. First year of my RttS they put Wilson, Haren and Pujols on the trading block. I guess they REALLY regret that 10 year deal with him don't they? :lol:
 
Woohoo.. Buster Posey got his first hit and it was a oppo taco! Of course almost all of his HRs are oppo tacos. :lol:
