maybe. but probably BO or MW2
btw, I'm still waiting for replys to my questions on page, 5.
So you admit to attacking me?
No, in the same way you would not admit to attacking me.
Alright, back to the issue on hand. The point is that you are one in 6.3 million. Even if you get 10, or 100, or 1,000, or even 100,000 people to go with your idea, you won't make a difference.
Also, you have to look at this with impact calculus in mind, and obviously the Pros of the patch outweigh the Cons (they have been listed throughout the post, and I do not feel the need to re-list them all again).
What if I have more than 1 friend who wants to gift me a car? Whats so wrong about helping your friends and keeping a car for yourself? Why isnt there more cash given for winning races? Why is "grinding" the norm? How come I wasnt told to stock up on rubberbands to "play" this game?
If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. I have seen a lot of negative comments in this thread, and i expected that. But, if you dont have a solution to the 1.07 patch then why post here? Why try to shoot down an idea that has been nothing less than constructive?
If you dont like my idea, who said you had to follow it?
heres my questions.
For all of those who are against the new 1.07 patch...I suggest that we do not play GT5 starting on march 3rd for 1 week, until march 10th. Simple? and if we need to, continue not playing until the patch is cancelled.
Never thought about that. Mabye killing trading will help online play. I just think if they kill trading, then they need to kill grinding too.
hey vinny.
How about you add me and we race. If I win, you have to go a week starting March 3rd without GT5 and if you win, I'll continue to play during the NO PLAY WEEK??
I'll even let you pick the track. But, somewhat close matched cars.
You game?
I was duped into buying this game. It wont happen again.
I dont even trade that often. Its only to friends I know from work who bought the game after me and im trying to help them out. Come to think of it, ive never done a trade. Ive just given cars to friends I know. I love to race, but I cant see myself going around a track over and over and over just to to get a million bucks so I can buy a "mid" level car; or strap a rubber band on my controller. It would take me almost a month of only playing this game to save up 20 million!! I have other games I like to play not to mention a job and family. So, shall I quit my life and do nothing but play this game just to get a few cars I really want?
If you are a real die hard racing fan and you have no life and no other games to play, then this game is for you.
If you are the average joe with a life, then this game just duped you.
1) You said you didn't fail at attacking me (which you did). The point is then that you admit that you did attack me.
2) This has now become a direct challenge, and therefore a form of attack.
3) This is off topic.
4) I'm sorry, but I really don't care. Hadn't you realized that I stopped posting? In any case, I would race you, and, no matter the outcome, still play. I refuse to entertain your immaturity.
@Krazy
Maybe you should edit the orignial post. People seem to think that it's about affecting the server statistics or robbing PD of money in a short perspective.
You should add that it works by people openly complaining and the issue getting attention. Then you should post a petition or point to an existing one, get as many names as possible and then publish the list.
If you get people to understand that if they join it you it will come to PDs attention through maybe an article on GTP news then it will have an effect. Because GTP is possibly the biggest voice of the GT community.
Even though GTP is only a small part of the game owners, it's still a large part of the vocal community. PD realises that GTP doesn't just speak for themselves but also for the silent users so if half of GTP says it then it's likely to be the opinion of many of the users.
Finally you might want to add that the community has, evidently influenced PD already by temporarily lifting the ban on trading expensive cars.
Ok
a challenge to a driving simulator game on a web page about the same game is an "attack"?
maybe you are not the die hard racing fan I thought you were.
and if you didn't want to entertain my immaturity, then, why are you still posting?
at least I would have honored the challenge if I had lost. kids these days, I tell ya.
at least I tried to make light of the argument that was going nowhere.

All you guys can do is shoot this guy down for expressing his opinion... None of you even had to post on this thread if you guys didn't like it,and instead you go on this tirade. I admit, everyone's pissed off at this update, but taking it out on someone isn't really fair is it?👎
