Anything is possible in a discussion, what's possible in reality PD time frame or intent is very vague at best.

It's certainly possible for cars to be in the game and not visible or unlocked until a set date by PD.

Post number 1, last sentence.

I'm assuming English isn't the OP 1st language, or he doesn't waste his time with grammar :odd:

But his last sentence is pedantically "Maybe a bonus too Will be announced on 24th so not long!"

Given his post starting with "I was hoping for weather effects and a classic track last update, so either one is a must for me this month"

I would assume you would not be foolish enough to give any factual weight to the rest of his post, it would be fairer to assume he is just willing what he previously wanted.

However, there is more form for announcement and update than there is for not.

Whatever mate

Can I just ask? Why does everyone expect a new layout of Dragon Trail?? Why not Alsace?? I think its more likely to be a new layout(s) for BB raceway plus a new circuit (only an assumption since we had new layout, new layout + new track then new layout in the last three 'main' updates).

Is it possible (I don't know much about these sorts of things) that the Supra Concept and Audi VGT will be added in a March but not available until April??

Edit: Just looked at the Supra Concept news article and it specifies an April Update so I guess that kinda proves that theory wrong!
I can't remember, but doesn't Alsace have a big lake in the middle, so it would be quite difficult to make another layout, unless they make a bridge.

Wasn’t aware of the lake! I guess they could go outside? Also, there’s a bridge in the blue moon infield B is there not? So I guess a bridge isn’t possible, just depends on the size of the lake!

i really hope this is the last batch of road cars for a while, i want them to focus more on race cars after this update, bringing some Super GT, GT1, GTE, LMP, Nascar, more F1 cars (maybe even some other formula series), some track cars (ferrari fxxk), even VGTs....

cuz you know, id rather them save the road cars for GT7 if theres gonna be one, i mean, i know they confirmed they are working on a new GT, so if its GT7, save the road cars for it, but if its like a GT Sport 2, then its alright

along with race cars, they could focus on tracks as well, im pretty sure they could get at least half a dozen tracks till the end of the year

with that said, 13 cars to go right?

my wishlist would be

for new cars
Ferrari F50
Ferrari 812 Superfast
Porsche 918
Ford GT 2017

for returning cars
Lexus LFA
Subaru Impreza 22b
Jaguar XJ220
Nissan Skyline R33
Dodge Charger 440 R/T
Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V
Nissan Silvia S15
Honda/Acura NSX

as for tracks... either le mans or spa would be nice, both would be ever better

Maybe a possible circuit is Fuji Speedway? Toyota's home track. Nice way to introduce the Supra.
But it's not like the Honda thing with Motegi, right?

What Honda thing? Was there a big Honda reveal i missed? If so, I haven't been in the GTS threads like that since November.

I know this is all assumption right now but I see this discussed a lot on this forum like people have concrete knowledge so I will ask... what do we mean by implementing the new FIA season?

Does this mean a whole load of new tracks? Or just a change in the championship structure/schedule?

My reading of this is that it probably just means a change in championship structure/schedules for the various parts of the world.

Would be interesting to have an update from PD about it. I would love to have a different schedule for the FIA Championship, with not so many races as we have now in the testing seasons. Maybe a couple of races per week, one for nations and another one for manufacturers, with 7 days to practice an try your best. Maybe with 3 attempts per player for each race during the week and taking the best result. I would not like to see just the same configuration just changing the name from testing to official.

Would be nice as well if PD starts to move a little bit the Sport mode with new races and tournaments, apart from the daily races and the FIA Championship. I remember, and I don´t think I am wrong, that there was a Polyphony Tournament/Race/something scheduled in the game after the release in October, but they cancelled it.

Let´s see if we have an update this month. I hope we have at least one new track. They can schedule some daily races in a new track to practice before the official championship.

I still love the game but we need some movement in my opinion.

I'm sure someone posted before that there is a 'Dragon Trail - Mountain' to be added? The clue being that currently the track is titled 'Dragon Trail - Seaside' I believe? Saying that, Alsace is called 'Alsace - Village' so maybe there is an alternative there too....

The current FIA event seasons are 'test seasons' - the real FIA events start in April. Presumably these will be the ones officially recognised in e-sport and also for those looking to get the official FIA Digital License. I would imagine in the same schedule and format still, though.

Thanks for the info. I was just a little curious because it was the one people kept mentioning! If they do make new layouts for Alsace, I hope they are better than the current layout!

Indeed... not a fan of the current one myself.

No, not Gran Turismo related, sorry. Honda owns Motegi, and my question was essentially asking if Toyota owns Fuji Speedway.

Yes. I think Tilke redesigned the track, after Toyota bought the Speedway. I had a Best Motoring: Fuji Fast video, with their first time on the track, back in the day.

Dragon trail is going to get a variation . It's called Dragontrail : seaside . Why add in " sea side ". Also before it got visually overhauled it had track behind the grand stands . After the overhaul it has track going into the city . Originally the track was just " Dragontrail "

I would skip the rest of the cars which are left for:

Lobby
-Individual BoP presets for each Car
-Password for Lobby
-More letters for the Lobby Name
-a Qualification Mode with replay
-After 6 months a fixed tire display on replays
-rolling start fixed (currently the start is too early)
-ability to share the host in a lobby (maybe thats not possible because its not an dedicated server?)

General
-fixed penalty system
-FANATEC SUPPORT !!!
-MORE TRACKS !!no Variantes!!!
-that they are fix the enjoyable f1 car to how it was before PD touched it...
-Nerfing the complete op bmw handling
-maybe rework the bumping ping pong physics

Edit: PD is beyond anything good, laziest publisher i have every expirienced over my sim racing "career"

To be honest...If we are looking how "fast"´PD is patching...we have in 10 years maybe a half ready game

NO direct contact to the community (I had no clue that this kind of no support still be able to survive at the current state of game market), its like they are living on the moon and throwing once per month a rocket to earth with mostly crap inside.

OK then. Well one can only hope we get Fuji.

I do not understand why PD does not add the great Japanese circuits.

They are there on the side of the company headquarters, and I do not understand the reason for not adding Tokachi, Autopolis, Sugo, Sendai, Motegi and Fuji.

Japanese circuits have a lot of identity.

I think next week we will have information about the March update.

I'm really curious to see what they will put, I'm pretty sure it will be one of the biggest GTS updates.

I'll let the O'Jays explain.

Yes I think that it will be a big update too for the following reasons:
• Its likely the last update before start of first
real FIA season so likely any new tracks
that will be included early in that season
will be released.
• Closure of the GT6 online services means
PD will want to encourage remaining GT6
players to migrate by adding new content
(may include online services improvement too as per their recent communication).

I also expect some sort of notification of plans for next six months too.

May be being far too optimistic here but here's hoping.

If there is a monthly release schedule would expect content sign-off end this week with Kaz tweet at coming weekend.

PD has been mainly focusing on Euro tracks of lately sadly. Japanese and American tracks seem to get the shaft as of lately.
