Snake Eater will answer most of the questions from Sons of Liberty, but will probably ask far more and MGS4 will answer those most likely. I heard Hideo Kojima isn't going to direct #4 though ...

I did read an article recently where Kojima said MGS3 would be the last.. he said it completed the Snake storyline and wrapped up loose ends, etc. That it was a trilogy, and only a trilogy.

While it might not be the last Metal Gear game, it'll be the last Metal Gear Solid game. I suppose any future games, especially without Kojima, would just be "the continuing adventures of Solid Snake" type of things. And most likely without the "Solid", since Kojima seems to want to take that with him.

I really hope that they won't start making Metal Gears that will be all about Raiden. I really don't like Raiden because his background and such isn't interesting to me. I really love Snake because of his mysterious background that makes people/customers want to know! 👍

It already did. Solid Snake is not in MGS3.
