Ok, let everyone else on know that I'm going to try and reinstate bukkit now. :)

The only plugin that wouldn't load was the NPC plugin. We may encounter more plugin bugs down the line though so please let me know.

We have our old server back the way it was exactly before the day of 1.8. So to everyone who joins,

Don't burn anything down!
 
Another Minecraft update has been put out. Now version 1.8.1
Unfortunate for bukkit, but there's a good chance the one they just finished will still work I think.

edit:ok it does, also, going to the nether gets you disconnected (end stream), something can't handle something.

Double doors are glitched. Have to be removed and replaced to make them work again. And most of the chests have to be removed and replaced to get the right orientation back.

Oh, the endermen are also griefing, bb log doesn't record their griefing though.
 
What does updating windows have to do with anything?

I'll look for a plugin that nerfs endermen.
 
More to do with updating anything, updates almost always break things that work.

Just did some fooling around in laggy singleplayer, underground was cool, I won't spoil it.

By the way, Endermen don't swim so well.
 
Don't nerf the endermen!!! Make them unable to grief and that's it.... :)

EDIT: I crashed the server while trying to reposition a chest. All chest items seem to have disappeared?

I think a plugin is throwing an error but it's such a long error i can't scroll to the top to see which plugin it is!! I'll check the logs.

The server should be back up now btw.
 
Hey guys, do you mind if I join you? I was going to sooner but wanted to get the hang of the game on single player first, so now that (I think) I know what I'm doing :) can I just jump on the server and say hi or what (total minecraft online noob here lol)?
 
Yeah, you can jump on the server anytime, but you won't be able to build until you're whitelisted. Post your minecraft username here and I can try and add you but I'm at work. I'll be home in an hour so can do it then. In the mean time hop on and look around and I'll see you there a bit later!
 
How do you lose items? That shouldn't happen. Aren't you storing them in chests anyway??

In other news... the world Venturi has been created!!! We're working on a portal at the moment. :)
