Hahaha, that is so awesome! I might have to check out the server. I'll let you know if I get some free time to play some minecraft.

There needs to be someone (mod) that logs on more frequantly. It's very rare that a mod logs on...well...it's rare that anyone else logs on, and I'm on quite a lot to know. Then when either Nick or Wall logs on, they say "I won't be on for long" and I'm like "AHHHH NUUUU PLEASE DON'T GOOO!!!"

However, this large, boring timespace did give me a time to sort out my vault. Each material has it's own spot in one of the 9 chests. :D However, I think I need more room so common materials (dirt, cobble etc) have 1 or more chests of their own. If anyone wants to give me some expantion tips or design tips, give me a shout. :) I'm open for suggesties..

Did it occur to you, that people may have jobs preventing them from getting online playing MC?.

But you should all quit your jobs and spend your life on the server! MWOHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Who needs a working bath these days, just jump in the river, and anyone that wants a new computer can build it themselves! :D

I'm pretty sure Dunc wants to keep the 'GTP Minecraft Server' for GTP members. It says it in the title. If the gentleman you speak of is actually a member of GTPlanet already, ask him to post in this thread so we can get to know him. :)

Not quite. I'm not going to advertise the server on the Minecraft Server list or anything as I don't want total randoms joining. GTP'ers friends and family are fine though. Your Queen doesn't visit GTP!

Redstone. Tons and tons of Redstone. Also some minecart tracks, detector rails, and booster rails. But I want to do a little more testing first, if that's OK, so hold on them for now. :)

I'm going to try (yeah, right) to catch up on some Z's, but first thing in the morning (8 or 9 hours time) I'll do some testing and stuff, and get back to you ASAP. :) I'll just jump on right now and have a look at what's there.

Hey dunc, mind finding a way to get me 128 blocks of brown wool? I want to finish off my house but I can't spawn cocoa beans and they are quite hard to find.

Currently (like litterally, now) working on the GTPlanet Symbol near the Rapture sign. I thought it best to go with the Black on White look to contrast better with the environment (do mind the scaffolding won't you ;))

Hmm...

I'm currently looking to install a plugin called BigBrother. It will let me look at blocks and see who has modifed them and when and how. Admins will have access to this as well.

Hey Miners, I'm currently out of the country and can't play minecraft (yay crappy connection) so keep me posted if the world changes or if the update erases the map and whatnot. I hope my project is still intact. :scared:
 
Is there a chance the lava bridge just burnt down? I remember Wallrunner had that concern when he built it.
 
Oh you mean the bridge next to the spawn house? Yeah the redstone does not work but the trapdoors are still there for you to walk on.
 
The redstone doesn't work as the water washed it away when the walls burned down.

Nick, can you PM me your MSN/Skpe/Whatever you use so we can discuss admin/mod stuff? Same to you Wall.

In other news, I present to you the GOD STATION!!

Located right outside the spawn house, it is very handy for users when mods/admins are not online. Want to change the time or weather? Simply press the button for the desired ambiance!

It is great fun to begin with but pressing all the buttons on/off/on/off/on/off gets boring and could (although im not sure) crash the server. I can set it so that once a button is pressed, another can't be pressed for a set amount of time but I don't want to have to do that.
 
Regarding the bridge burning down, the last time I logged on it was fine so it must have happened fairly recently...
 
Considering the number of wooden structures on the server, and the fact that that was the only thing that burned down, and it contained lava, I doubt it was griefing. Perhaps if it gets rebuilt, a different material would be better. ;)
 
The lightning the other night was mental :lol: As were the zombie pigmen everywhere! What the hell was going on? Just people mucking about?

It could just be a lava malfunction, and it's not like this is a house, it's easially re-built. :) Interesting idea about the BigBrother plugin, not sure I agree though, even there's no reason for me to...:p

Gonna be away all day today, won't be on the server but I'll be on tonight. :D
 
I've finished off the basic tunnel to my place for now, the entrance is still hidden at the moment unless you access it from the side at mine, but would you like to attach it to the station cart system if we were to extend further around the map to other locations? It's built on a 3x3 scale so would fit perfectly I'd imagine.
 
It is possible the bridge got hit by lightning since i saw it strike the ground once and burn a tree down.
 
When lightning strikes I think there is a 1 in 100 chance of it burning down. With the god station users can now start thunder storms too!
