I'm thinking of putting water in certain locations in my wooden structures to contain a possible fire.
 
^^The chances of the redstone powered switch somewhere near the ground still working by the time you have been alerted are kinda low :lol:.
 
You could have redstone wires leading to the roof for example with a torch at the beginning.
If the wire is cut, the sprinkler system engages.

Soooooooo...I've solved the mystery of the lava-pit-burney-downey-thingy. I tried to re-build it with wood but as soon as I did this happened:

It's obviously a lava malfunction, I would suggest re-building it with stone or brick (I recommend brick, would look awethomes :D)

I havn't got the materials to do it at this moment in time but if anyone else wants to, that would be great. Also the Redstone wiring is messed up now that
 
Wooden slabs stacked into a box don't burn. Make the bottom two layers out of them and then the rest as wood. Works a charm. (how my house hasn't burned down yet) *????*:.?..?.:*?'(*???*)'?*:.?. .?.:*????*
 
It's sad to hear people things are getting burnt to the ground. I wouldn't have expected to see griefing on this server.
 
Dunc, is there any way to disable lightning's ability to set things on fire without disabling the lightning itself? I don't know if that would require a mod or not.

Not that I'm aware of. I don't think there's any point though due to the extremely low chance of it causing harm. Lightning strikes are random and it's a big world! Even if something of yours does get hit there is only a 1 in 100 chance it will light so if it burns down you must be the unluckiest person ever. And I will laugh at you!

I think he means Ryou's village. It was burnt down earlier. It seems as if someone poured the lava over the village. 👎:indiff:

Yeah. They're all saying the lava and fire just appeared randomly. I'm sorry but that doesn't happen. Someone put it there. It was over a wide area but still localised to just that village. I have my suspicions but my antigriefing plugin is new and I'm still getting used to it. I'm still not sure how reliable it is either.

Wow, Ryou´s village burned down? What the BLEEP!? I didnt expect griefing on this server...
Well guys, dont start pointing fingers because that never solved anything. Instead of punishment, let us help Ryou construct the village back.

I can't use anything other than painterly pack. Totally customizable but fits well with the intentions of normal minecraft.
 
I'm selling a house in minecraft. It's a bridge house based from France. Comes with custom made river and waterfalls, attic with two windows, tree trunks for a unique look, Deck area overlooking the river filled with boats, and you have a house that can also act as your own personal bridge(DIY stuff) between the river. House is not furnished so set up the house as you would like to.

Ask Nick09 in the sever for purchase. House is being sold for 1000 credits. Pay nick09 and place a sign next to the door with your name and it's yours to own and use as a home.

EDIT: New Storehouse is included with the purchase! This storehouse is walled off with stone and wood to protect your items!

Edit2: It seems like Minecraft.net is down. I've also reduced the price to 900 credits for my house and storeroom.

Is Minecraft borked? Neither me or my friend can load it past the Login screen.
 
I'm also setting up the storage room with a lot of large chests. You may be surprised when you see it and be horrifically confused.
