22 bucks gets you the full game, with single and multi player. Everything you need to get online and join our server is there right from the off. In single player you have the option to turn the game to 'Peaceful' mode which means no enemies and your health regenerates. If you leave it on Normal or Easy, you will get enemies spawning when it gets dark.
No matter what game type you choose, you will always start with nothing. Joining the GTP server is handy for learning as it rarely turns night time due to our time changing mods (They're installed on the server, no need for you to install them yourself) but it might be worth playing a single player game set to 'Peaceful' first just to get the hang of crafting.
There
will be a full version, and it's coming in November I believe. Buying the game now means you will get the full version when it's released, so the money saved is definitely worth it IMO.
I hope this helps, if you have any more questions just ask away
Gee thanks! It's nice when somebody gives a complete, informative answer.
You're both right, 22 bucks is dece. I was watching that series and I know that, even if the game has mods, I want to play it very simple, from the start, like they did. It's amazing that a game that looks this ridiculous and low-tech, and one that is this simple, probably held the highest tension for me in almost any game I've ever played (or just watched being played), as they dashed to make a house out of wood in time. This should be fun...
So, I guess one or two more questions, if you please.
Will I be able to use my headset (Earforce P11), more specifically, the mic, to talk during multiplayer?
Will I be able to run it fullscreen, or will it be windowed?
Also, for the payment options in Canada, what could you possibly recommend other than a credit card? A) I don't have one. B) I don't want to ask my parents (shutup) and C) Neither me nor my parents like giving out our credit card number(s). Will they accept a preloaded credit card, like one that you could get at Money Mart? I guess I'll check the website again, but thanks for the answers.
Probably deff getting this game. Annoyingly, now I'll have even
less time to play all those other great games I have, and I've barely even
started into Oblivion...but I wanted to get Skyrim, too...I guess it doesn't matter if I get
that one late, though, because there's no multiplayer, so the game can be enjoyed at any time after its release without getting deserted by the multiplayer community.
Anyway, off topic. Will look into getting this. Looks awesome.
