See report #179, this thread. It does work. I probably could not do it with a controller, I use a wheel. Some think it is crude, but it requires some finesse, and attention to detail.
New post in long time... I tried many a time to do as mentioned above by staying in 5th gear so I had to shake it up a bit by jumping between 5th and 6th and i got it done, watch the video
