GMC Canyon SLE crew cab 4WD Z71. Too many (someone count for me... I get lost on the Z71 part. I think it's 18 though).

Silverado 1500 Crew Cab (Chevrolet). Thirteen.

Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 SLT (Dodge). Fourteen.

Am I pronouncing "1500" wrong or something? As 1-5-0-0 they get 12 and 15 respectively. As fifteen hundred they get 10 and 13 respectively.

(Subaru) Impreza WRX-STi WR1. Sixteen.

Silverado 2500HD LS Extended Cab Standard Box 2WD (Chevrolet)

Silverado 1500 Z71 Extended Cab Standard Box 2WD (Chevrolet)

Both 23 I believe (someone can check me).

Ah – I was pronouncing it as "fifteen hundred". But anyway, I editted it to include the GMC Canyon. :D

And DOug – In your first post, you say that manufacturer names don't count, but you included Volvo (without it, it comes out at 10), so...?

No - he didn't.

"Ecks-See-Sev-En-Ty Ay-Dub-Bul-You-Dee Ess-Ee" - 12.

May I try?

-Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Six Tommi Makinen Edition = 19 syllables.

Oh! You know what I did? I pronounced "All Wheel Drive" instead of saying it letter-by-letter. Oops.

I'm still owning with 23 syllables.

Here's another to add:
Colorado Z85 LS Extended Cab Short Box 2WD (Chevrolet) - 20
Range Rover Westminster Limited Edition (Range Rover) - 18

May I try again?

Tamaraw FX Revo VX two hundred two-point-zero gasoline Automatic leather - 24

The 1500 does not come in Heavy Duty trim, Chevrolet does not offer All Wheel Steering, "AWS" is "Ay Dub-Uhl-Ew Ess" not "All Whe-El Ste-ring", and GM marks their trucks as "4x4", not "4WD".

I think we might have a new top vehicle though:
F-250 Super Duty King Ranch Crew Cab 4x4 6-3/4' (Ford)
Eff-Two-Fif-Tee-Su-Per-Due-Tee-King-Ran-Che-Crew-Cab-Four-By-Four-Six-And-Three-Four-Ths-Feet = 22

F-150 Lariat SuperCab Styleside 4x4 6-1/2' (Ford)

Ram-Twen-Tee-Five-Hun-Dred-Pow-Wer-Wag-Un-Reg-U-Lar-Cab-Four-By-Four-El-Dub-Ble-Ew-Be = 22

Close but not quite.

Jesus Christ, what have I started.

As far as I'm concerned, US-spec, I'm still ahead. "Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS" is a trim level. Beyond that, it's options. The bed and cab size are options. The vehicle isn't badged as the "4WD 4.8 V8 base extended cab long bed". Otherwise, I can come up with some other pretty long ones:

Isuzu Rodeo 4WD S 3.5 4-door automatic with preffered equipment package S, luxury package, appearance package, chrome package, sound package, color-keyed package, power sunroof, in-dash 6-disc CD changer, and alloy wheels.

God knows how many syllables that is.

The two other US model entries I saw that came close to V70 XC AWD SE were "Range Rover Westminster Limited Edition" and say what you will, but Range Rover is a make name. Not one person on Earth calls it the Land Rover Range Rover 4.6HSE, and if you do, you're off your gourd. There never was a 5.9-liter Orvis Grand Cherokee. And if there was, "point" wouldn't be two syllables. :p I believe Orvis was an option package rather than a trim level anyway, as the Columbia Edition and Freedom Edition were/are.

The window stickers on our GMC Sierra pickup trucks DO say "Extended Cab" and "4x4" as part of the vehicle's name, but not the bed length. The 4x4s even have stickers on the side of the bed that state it is a 4x4 as opposed to a 4x2.

If we eliminated bed and cab length, it'd still be Silverado 2500HD LS.

And I've heard Land Rover commercials calling it the "Land Rover Range Rover". If Range Rover is a make, then what do you call the vehicle? An HSE?

Nah - the commercials say "The Range Rover... by Land Rover." The theory is that they want both brand names on the car, for obvious reasons. But it'd be awkward for such an expensive vehicle to be known as the Land Rover Range Rover. The vehicle is simply the "Range Rover". As they have and have only ever had only one product, it's not particularly difficult to distinguish. :)

I guess Silverado 2500HD LS takes it - CG doesn't do heavy-duty trucks, so I'm out of the loop there. Still, V70 XC AWD SE - there's a sighting in traffic. And we're calling it second-longest. With no thought at all! Until earlier today. I'm about to make another thread, respond to it.

There's reason why they don't make any Mitsubishi Antidisestablishmentarianisms. And if they did, it'd be hard to try and pronounce it alone

"Subaru WRX Impreza STI AWD"--try beating 17 (the "W"=3 syllables) (I already know there's an 18-syllable name mentioned earlier but oh well :) )

"Ferrari 360 Modena F1"=11 syllables
"Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet"=12 syllables
"Alfa Romeo 147 GTA"=13 syllables
"Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR"=12 syllables
"BMW 745Li"=12 syllables

Sit down for this following one. I kid you not, mentioned in Automobile Magazine, November 2003 issue, page 122:  "Alfa Romeo Tipo 6C-1750 Supercharged Gran Sport Spider"=21 syllables

Another one on the opposite page reads "Ferrari 250GT Series 2 PF Cabriolet"=17 syllables

Try beating that!
