Why not just bring standard bikes from Tourist Trophy? I doubt that would take a long time to do. Bikes and cars on the Ring at the same time . DO IT 👍

They dint really have tar is for the bikes either. That would be cool if they had the Isle Of Man TT track. You could race cars, and bucks around it

Do you want motorbikes in GT5?
Why not? But only if you can't race with both car and motorbike in the same moment. Separate races sounds good

DLC for airplanes. 👍

GT5 The Real Flight Simulator.

/Sarcasm.

c'mon man....... they were already have those in the patch....how do you think they film the x1 in the new opening vid?? hahahhaha

If PD had nothing to do with TT it would be like NO and WHY would you want bikes in it. but as it stands PD made TT on top of the gt4 track platform and it was the BEST bike game/sim ever on a console still to this day.... and PD must have had plans and thoughts of bikes AND cars if you watch the Grand Turismo HD clip on youtube. another thing that could come with the bike pack......hmmm some more tracks???

AND they are getting the filtering better and better in online rooms for restrictions. who says you even have to SEE the bikes. as long as it was room restricted to be cars only, bikes only and a mix up free for all mode maybe even a room generation restriction that if a room was generated as a car only room or bike only or free for all it would stay locked in that mode so if a host of a car only room left then the next host inline couldn't change it up to bikes or free mode and piss off the car purists.

At that point if you didn't buy the dlc you wouldn't even have to see the bikes because you would be joining the car rooms...

I'd like to see PD make a Tourist Trophy 2 rather than add bikes straight to GT5, but I'd like to see some cross compatibility with GT5, (so if you have both games you can use bikes and run the TT events in GT5).

hmmm the last part of your post sounds like what we are talking about....but would be way harder to do with 2 different games. Adding to gt5 would be most logical idea

honestly I'd pay 20 bucks no questions asked for the dlc if they put digitally cleaner versions of all the old TT bikes in a dlc with another track pack. it would be like buying a new game.

Well I'd be kind of indifferent. Got to say I wasn't that into karts being in GT5. But as long as bikes are restricted to one make races which I am sure they would be then go right ahead. And for those saying "No GT is for cars!" GT is "The Real Driving Simulator." Sorry to break this to you, but people drive more than cars! I mean are karts cars?

Not one make races but C-Spec :D

We already have the Tank Car and the Schwimmwagen so I can't see why they shouldn't add more tanks in the game. What about ships? People don't use only cars. What about elicopters or a jet pack? With the racing suits should be truly awesome.

Oh and yes, I know about Gran Turismo HD but it's vaporware.

Dude, that's GTA. Not GT.

bikes in gt5 would be bad, but turist trophy 2 is welcome ;) i hope they include the beautyfull isle of man because thats is a real challenge to your concentration and memories 👍

I think the general consensus can agree on two things- either motorcycles as downloadable content for GT5 or in a Tourist Trophy sequel. Not to ask a question different from the main point of this thread, but which do you think is more likely to happen if it came down to those two: bikes as DLC for GT5 or bikes in a Tourist Trophy sequel?

I HOPE we get a TT2, but as PD are busy as hell with almost constant work on GT5 I can't see them releasing the manpower to do so. So I'd say IF we get bikes then DLC for GT5 would be more likely and would require less effort than a full game.

Indeed, the whole bike catalogue from the original TT could be released as a Standards pack, or something.

However, I think a proper sequel to TT is more likely than DLC bikes. Kaz seemed surprised that people would want bikes in GT5; then again he was also surprised at other stuff that has subsequently been implemented...

Basically, I want a TT2; I have enough cars in GT5 for now. :dopey:

I would adore to see bikes in GT5.

Also, I think it would be very easy to implement them in GT5 and allow everybody who wants to experience them - if they like.

Gran Turismo 5 is built like a "cluster", thus allows for easy and flawless integration of any content - as we witnessed through the past. Since release we seen updates in GUI, menus, all type of content (cars, tracks, parts), items, online and offline features, physics, technical implementations... you name it. From what we know, every single part of the code can be updated separately and can be made to exist in both online and offline.

What does it have to do with Tourist Trophy being implemented in GT5? Everything.

At this point, GT5 is already in the consoles of 6 million people, with hundreds of thousands playing online on regular basis (as we can witness from ranking-spots in time-trials when you achieve very slow times). Also, recent introduction of the DLC content and displayed ability to update not just content itself (as number on R35 TC was updated for instance), but also the policy of managing the content (with Kazunori's announcement of December release of the "Family Upgrade" feature) is clear showcase that Polyphony built an unique "platform" that can be updated anytime and server-based.

Also, GT5 is currently available worldwide as a separate Platinum/Greatest Hits release with reduced price. Now imagine this scenario:

> Tourist Trophy DLC that integrates into GT5 as a full new "*game*, available from the starting screen as a separate icon next to "GT Life". It brings everything we expect from TT game: A-Spec, B-Spec, Career, Licenses, Special Races, Dealerships, Items, Practice Modes, PhotoModes, GT Bike Shop, online Seasonal Events and everything else by the rules we already saw in the original TT game

> All bikes for purchasers of that DLC can be used in Arcade mode/Online for both bike-only or mixed races. If you and your friends wants to race bikes-vs-cars, you can do it at your consideration in the Private Lounges or in specially created Open Race lobbies

With some "Prologue-type" of price for such DLC and easy integration in GT5 I can safely presume how great amount of TTDLC would be sold in the very first dates, while community would do the rest.

They could opt for a standalone release in small quantities of course, or even release it as some future GT5 Spec 3 game with Tourist Trophy included on disc. BUt I would really love to see Tourist Trophy game integrated into existing GT5 just because it would allow to play both universes simultaneously, without need to change discs and full-integration of both offline, and especially online/multiplayer features, would create a really unique driving universe in whole history of the genre.

I really hope it will happen in the (near) future.

EDIT: Also, the very poll above is made to be persuasive and it is clearly made to create a biased-results. Options are biased to achieving a dedicated result of "no" in order to backup personal feel of the author of the poll, but not the acceptable choices. Which is really not OK from perspective of anyone who thinks different than poll-author.
