"Took the the hill, in a NASCAR"
"Never in a NASCAR"
-.-

"MWR is like Ferarri in F1"

>.<

Please..
The GWFoS commentators aren't the most knowledgeable. The coverage is cringe-worthy at best.

What a dork.

I can't tell if that was done on purpose or the car was having techincal problems... But yes, it would probably be wiser to just pull to the side and not leave your near-static car on the middle of the track, to be honest.

Absolute turkey!

Some of the comments on that story are hilarious...people actually saying it wasn't Roberto's fault :banghead:

It looks like he was slowing down to do a burnout on his grid spot for race 2. The driver's had been specifically warned to not do this.

My guess is that Lafiti is looking in his mirrors, trying to hold off the guy behind him.

That reminds me of a time when I was stuck behind a pheasant running down the middle of a very narrow country lane. After crawling along at 5mph for over half a mile, the pheasant keeled over and died, probably due to exhaustion. Just as well because by that time, I was seriously contemplating removing the dumb ass from the gene pool myself and taking it home for dinner.

You have wings goddammit and the grass was 2 feet either side of you.

If you have a bad day, remember, you could be in an Audi TT going around the Nordschleife and get overtaken by a bus.

Hate to be a buzzkill, but what makes you think the bus is passing the Audi?
It's a joke. :p

And to be fair that picture would make it look like the bus was the one overtaking, if it was a regular motorsport event.

When a car goes into limp home mode when you're trying to floor it to pull it straight

Limp home mode

Seems to me he just got oversteer on the second part of the chicane then overcorrected?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Full race here you'll see when the car comes out its limited in the revs until it's turned off then on again it also happens several times before the off.

Consider corrected

So I see now. He should be penalised for that, he was a danger to other track users by continually restarting the car and continuing. Bloody irresponsible, imo. It's lucky that he didn't take anyone else with him.

He kept out of the way of everyone and when you're leading the championship you tend to do what you can to get to the line to get points.

Almost like Mark Webbers Warm Up crash in 1999 at Mulsanne Corner .
