Well, I guess that answers my question then. It was a dumb move, and Roberto was duly rewarded with a two-race ban. Maybe that'll teach him to drive with a bit more common sense... or then again, maybe not.

It looks like he was slowing down to do a burnout on his grid spot for race 2. The driver's had been specifically warned to not do this.

My guess is that Lafiti is looking in his mirrors, trying to hold off the guy behind him.

That reminds me of a time when I was stuck behind a pheasant running down the middle of a very narrow country lane. Hate to be a buzzkill, but what makes you think the bus is passing the Audi? They are both breaking a serious touristenfahrten rule if it is the case - overtake on the left only.

Full race here you'll see when the car comes out its limited in the revs until it's turned off then on again it also happens several times before the off.

So I see now. He should be penalised for that, he was a danger to other track users by continually restarting the car and continuing. Bloody irresponsible, imo. It's lucky that he didn't take anyone else with him.

He kept out of the way of everyone and when you're leading the championship you tend to do what you can to get to the line to get points.
