My Gran Turismo wouldn't start

Just installed GT5 and after that there just come a GT5 logo og the screen and nothing happens

Help please

As far as I've heard, it's related to network problems, so just sign out of PSN and it should be fine.

was it stuck on the bit saying about where the online terms and agreement malarky is? I cant get past there signed in or out of PSN. It only did this after i downloaded the new software v1.01 i think it was

^Disable your connection all together from the ps3 settings and see if that works.

Apparently PD are having problems with network congestion on the GT5 servers. There's still communication going on even when you're not actively participating in an online event, so Sony's suggestion for the time being is to disable the PS3 network connection (or sign out of PSN) if you run into any problems like this.

im signed out of PSN, wireless is switched off, network disabled, and still the problem persists. someone said on the PSN forum if its still the same problem, exchange. so ive done that, still the same problem. Im now deleting all my saved game data just to see what that does, i havnt played it that much, so thats no biggy. but ill see where that takes me

it works now ive deleted the saved data, so i started from scratch. ive not downloaded the update yet, but ill try that again whilst ive done nothing on the career bit, and see how it goes. but it does suggest to be either the update screwed something up, or the saved game data was corrupted somehow
