My GT5 has been dispatched

My Play.com order hasn't arrived. I live in the outskirts of London. I'm very annoyed. Going to have to run into town and do a return job on it. It was dispatched last Friday, and considering that I'm near the capital I would have assumed I would get it today.

I do find it somewhat funny that when I lived in the middle of nowhere my orders would arrive well ahead of the 3-5 days, and now that I live in the middle of somewhere, I don't get post on time.

I hope my ce from play comes today. I have had problems before with gran turismo 5 prologue. They say it was dispatched on wenesday when infact they had no stock. I didn't recieve it unroll Monday. 3days late. They only gave me a £3 voucher. Why? I am never ordering from play again unless they have exclusives. And they are probably going to fail again. Waiting all day to get nothing, then working 6 days till I can play. :(
 
Wifey is en route to pick up now at Sams club, 7am eastern time here, yed i did say sams club, they have 6 of them and she is a chef and knows the boss, lucky me. Well better than 10am at gamestop, Should be arriving any minute, thanks to the forum and everyone here, i can't wait to finally play this gem.
 
Whoohoo, my GT standard edition has shipped from Mississauga, Ontario! It's already in Montreal right now, so maybe I'll get it either today or tomorrow! :D But either way, I should get it for the weekend :D

If my play.com order does not arrive today, I'm doing a Tesco run to see if i can get hold of a copy in store. I'll then do a return job to Tesco on the unopened one and get my money back.

Hopefully I won't need to do this, as mine will arrive. Fingers, toes, and just about everything else crossed !!

still waiting, not sure posty been yet, BUT... if it doesnt arrive, i'm goin to the local shopping centre to get the CE, and returning play.com whenever it does arrive with polite notice, unwanted as it was LATE!!!!
 
I must be one of the few, but I love amazon.... I don't think that they've even deceived me..... I thought I was gonna get GT5 next week, either on the 1st or 2nd, but they've surprised once more. And that was with standard shipping too! I didn't even pay premium!
 
Parcelforce tracking tells me that my next door neighbour is now the proud owner of a GT5 Signature Edition. She better be home when I get back from work this evening. :)

I believe the signature edition is not available in the United States so this is a commiseration for their misfortune.

Besides no one forced myself or you to shell out for the CE and we were never promised that miniature car in our version.

Its just a model car :sly: if you really want a nice dye cast model Im sure you can get one.

My wife just called to say its arrived! :) Standard edition from play.com. I'm in Somerset.


2 minutes later i get email with codes for stealth models. My life is now complete!!
