Well Brett. There is certainly some thought provoking stuff in there.

BTW, what ever happened to the 250 words or less rule? :D

What kind of grade did you receive on this?
Did your teacher make any comments?

Now that was alot.... My fav. part was towards the end

"Those who choose to use drugs and go through life doing stupid things tend to get killed off by vehicle accidents, overdoses, drug rip-offs, diseases and other mishaps. This rids the gene pool of stupid, defective people so that they cannot breed and raise more stupid, defective people."

haha i like that

Brett- If you haven't already, you should read Atlas Shrugged. ;)

hi bret - good to see you back again ;)
good luck; hope you get a good grade.

oh, and what happened with the letter? did you finally post it?? :D

oh, cool, i am glad you have found yourself a nice girlfriend ;)
sorry it didn't work out with the letter, but hey fate has a funny way of making things work out for the best! :D

Truely some thought-provoking stuff. I'd be appalled if you didn't get an A for that work. I found your views on Christianity quite interesting, and many I agree with.

I could understand if you got an A, I could also understand if you got a grade lower than that. I don't know why you are writing this paper, maybe someone could tell me.....

Anyway, I enjoyed reading your thoughts, here's something else to think about...

I know I'm sitting back and picking apart your work, but if you wouldn't mind throwing this out for a little debate

You went on there for a paragraph or two about how God has created all evil, and I believe you also said "God is the spawn of all evil." What a true statement, but you say this as if it is degrading to the "infallibility" sp. of God. Consider this, if you were the creator of a race, your own God, do you think you would ever get tired of denying people the right of the Celestial Kingdom, due to their "unchristian" lifestyles?

Maybe God creator Lucifer, Hell, and "evil" people, to "weed-out", evil people. What I mean is, have the people that would have been denied Heaven anyway, just follow the beliefs of Satan. So as they simply go directly to Hell.

Think of it this way, if you were trying to assemble a group of players for a Major League Baseball team, wouldn't you send all of the hopefuls through training camp first?

That's a very odd comparison, and now reading it again it doesn't make too much sense, but it kinda helps the point.

You then go on to state, "God is the manufacturer of everything wrong in the world." Hopefully you realise that He is also the manufacturer of everything right, too? And may I be so ignorant, as to ask you to state something that is actually "wrong" in the world?

And on a final note, I know this is getting lengthy, in your later paragraphs you touched on edited Bibles, I couldn't agree with you more. I seem to have forgotten what language the first copy was written in, but it seems to be a Life Goal of mine to study up that language, and read the Real Bible.

Anyway, my two cents
Brett Yoder
