Well I should miss about 2 hours of it. Anyone know a good live stream to watch it on?

Just keep searching around at the time, they're bound to be removed every few minutes like today and yesterday 👎
How STUPID! Who's going to be home at noon. On a Monday...
I'm convinced there are stupid people at NASCAR. You have lights! Use them!
This forum needs a face palm emoticon.
What do you propose they do? There is no way Fox is going to move around new episodes of House and Alcatraz and moving it to another channel isn't going to do much either. Not to mention I'm guesing there are local ordinances preventing them from doing night races on week nights hence why the Duels are during the day.
NASCAR does not have free reighn, they have to work with the cards they are dealt.
I hope it rains until night on Monday.
ICEYOUWhy can't these cars run on rain tires?

Atleast let'em run it on Road courses.Because they have way more power than downforce, no wipers, and no lights.

I had one today that was active for 7 hours...
Lights aren't an issue.

History was made today as NASCAR postpone the Daytona 500 for the first time ever.
The do race under the lights.... maybe it would have been too late?
Why is everyone acting like a delayed race has never happened before? NASCAR made their decision based on the forecast for tonight, which was just the same rain pattern that has happened all day. Anytime they would get the track close to completely dry, it was just going to rain again.
If the race ends up being tomorrow night, I don't see why Fox can't move programming around. They've done it before.

Here's a good trivia question:
The Daytona 500 has been the opening race for the NASCAR season since 1982. What race was the season opener prior to that from 1970 to 1981?
Winston Western 500 at the old Riverside course.
Yeah, and I wish it was still there. Riverside was a heck of a track.
Episodic TV shows can be moved with no problem.
Was never around to see it unfortunately, would love to have seen a race there.![]()
I guess whilst we're on the subject, what is the ideal time window for a event like this on the weekend and how does the promoter and sponsors and network work this all out? Since I've been hearing about FIA and its troubles finding broadcasting deals for WRC, I figure I'd ask.

Not just that, the current time there at Daytona is almost 18:00 and it is still very wet. Drying up the track might take another 1 or possibly the longest being 2 hours. By then, the race will start really late possibly at 20:00 and might lasted until very late night which is not ideal for the drivers and as mentioned, TV Coverage.
Frustration is frustration, but sometimes logic thinking must come.
You're not making things any better? You should be lucky it's postponed to tomorrow instead of cancelling the whole Daytona 500 altogether!
