1. Physics look okay to me
2. Cars sound great
3. Could be a gameplay option
4. I don't think any NFS has had "much going on" in it's cities. Traffic is usually pretty low with not much going on.
Instead of arguing against his opinions as if he's wrong for having them, you could be less condescending and actually argue his point with actual sentences instead of posting a list like that.

It's an early build. What do you expect?
If its anything to go by, the actual city is pretty dead in the AM's , although I doubt they did that to mimic realism. It will most likely get more populated when the game comes out.

Physics even for an arcade game look poor, sound design from cars from what i can here is poor, that is not the sound for porsche OR the mustang so, wut, irrititating "jump forward" screechy wheels nonsense returns from Rivals/MW12 I see, and the city it self just looks and feels so sterile, like, there is hardly anything going on? Why? I thought the world would be really dense but it just seems like it's rather barren, hardly any traffic.

Every time I visit this thread, you have something negative to say.

If you don't like the game, don't post here.

It's not that hard. 👍

As annoying as it is, post like this are just as annoying. Either ignore him, or literally put him on your ignore list, but people need to stop telling people where they can and cant post, especially since he is at least being on topic. If its that much of a problem then report him

It's not that hard. 👎

I am going to have so much fun with this game before I even get to the actual "driving" part.

I understand where you're coming from. Having it that low for PC is a bit odd, especially taking into consideration how much more capable PC's are over this gen. However, if I remember correctly, there is not an open world game that is running 60fps, yet.

Can somebody explain to me how 60 fps is of benefit to the fun factor of a title?

Runs faster and smoother.

Runs faster and smoother.
It doesn't run faster, or at least it shouldn't if they optimized it correctly. It should run at the exact same speed. What it is doing is inserting more frames each second giving you better visual feedback for intricate and delicate inputs, which probably wouldn't make much difference with the physics that would likely be ran with this game.

Smoother, I would agree, but that's as if to say 30fps cant be smooth.

Because blackpanthaa said it does not make it fact

Seeing how he was brought to Gamescom by EA/Ghost to play NFS2015, he does have some credibility. And he did say that there was a possibility of a beta. He didn't confirm it.

Honest question. How much can our eyes actually detect, and is it enough to make that much of difference while playing?

Plus, what both of you said has little bearing on fun factor to me.

My response was to him, not your general question, as I agree completely.

As for the difference, I was able to tell after play FH2 for so long and had jumped back to FM5. As far as when you're actually playing the game, it wont be too noticeable unless you have the exact same game playing on a screen right next to each other. One playing at 30fps, and one playing at 60fps, otherwise its all fine.

Thanks for the feedback and it seems to mirror exactly what I think as well although I am not sure anyone will agree with my opinion on 30 FPS being fine across all racing games.

All i can say is looking good! a bit empty..but at night time you barely get any traffic, I'm pretty sure once we hit the highways it will be more dense. Also i noticed how night time actually looks very alive and the city so far feels like a character itself.Customization already looks very deep and actually not so flamboyant the kits and all the parts they look more on the tuner side then the whole "rice' stuff.looking forward to see more cars and hoping for that vinyl/livery editor.

Gameplay looks sweet, it makes a big difference watching someone who isn't terrible play. This build is very old as well so there's loads of stuff that will have changed by now.

The cops seem to be very easy to escape from, no more superhero cops from Rivals :D

I rather have the superhero cops but not the invisible ones :]

They didn't, and won't apparently.
Such a shame, the game just looks amazing but this small detail kills all my hype for it.
Thanks for the reply. 👍 And yeah, the same way is happening to me too. Just can't feel hyped knowing "that" is going to be a part of it. :(

Wow EA, you surprised me; I might actually buy this. It's giving me a similar vibe to the great NFS games of the early 2000s. The customization alone just looks fun; I love the RTR Mustang kit. 👍

I think this'll be a nice 'couch-racer' for when I don't feel like pulling-out the G27 and tinkering with game files.

Has a car list been released yet or no ?, just curious.

No just a thread in house from GTP users but nothing official.

Yeah the online only is killing my hype, i'm just not fond of seeing all my rivals "teleporting" all over the place everytime i play the game. Hopefully someone hack it so it can be played offline, just like sim city

Or you can play it in single player mode.
