Here is a summary in english of the Jeux Vidéo article:
PAGE 1
---->They say they have more stuff about the three cities.
Then some new stuff:
"622 Broadway Avenue, NYC. On the 4th floor, a huge duplex, more likely to be owned by a real estate company. Crazy people everywhere, even a guy on a skateboard. Another comes speeding through the hall on a "bike" and brakes just on time. The man is Terry Donovan - a big boss at Rockstar - and proudly shows his San Andreas couloured bike. Unique !"
"We are asked to follow Jeff Castaneda - PR manager - and Devin Winterbottom - production manager into the demo room.
"San Fierro"
---> Some talking about the missions. We already know all of it.
PAGE 2
---> Screens only.
PAGE 3
"When storm is going on at San Fierro, stay away from boats and don't swim. The "movement" of the ocean is very realistic and influenced by the weather and climate. "
"Apparently, the developers have not included Alcatraz !!!"
"San Fierro is characterised by 70's style atmosphere, coloured buildings and unique architecture, the hills and the newer modern buildings.
The famous Golden Gate is there."
"There's a garage / showroom with luxury cars, where CJ can steal a car, crash through the windows right on the streets and get away !"
"Cars can be modified with new colors, new rims (big or chromed) and nitro stuff. Great to loose chasing cops."
PAGE 4
---> More about a mission. And the aiming system. (see previous article translation)
PAGE 5
---> Talks about a cutscene, where CJ is told his mom Beverly died. Afterwards it's like a reunion, with everyone joining at Glen Park. The visit in the house is impressive.
"If every house looks this good, it's of an unrealistic level of detail and depth in any gaming world."
Then more about the respect meter. Territory has it's own colour based on the gangs.
You can "recrute" other people to join your gang.
PAGE 6
Mostly screenshots and talks a bit about the buildings in Los Santos, for example the Convention Center and the Chinese Theatre.
Nothing new here.
PAGE 7
Las Venturas...has buildings from the real city such as:
Visage -> Mirage
Caligula's Palace -> Cesar's Palace
But also invented GTA stuff such as:
VRock building
Candy Suxxx stripbar
There are Elvis lookalikes running around. You can enter casinos and play ... you can win and loose.
However, remember the biggest feature of the game "The more you do, the more you'll become"...eating more = become bigger, fight more = become better, etc.
If you play alot at the casinos, you'll get better and earn more money.
The article is finished with something I can translate more or less to this:
San Andreas -> "A hell of a game that promises you a game of hell. A paradise for gamers of all genres."
No big news...
